Look, we also probably don’t have free will, but we should live and act like we do. Don’t let the minute details keep you from getting what you can out of this life.

I’ve heard the same from a friend of mine, the exploration in 3 was one of the best parts of that game. I’ve played the other Bethesda games, but I don’t think anything scratches that itch the same way, not even new vegas really did.
That’s a hell of a take, but I can kind of get it. It was definitely a mess at launch, and was a very different vibe from 3, which might rub you the wrong way if it’s not what your preference is.
I do enjoy the shit out of it personally. Different strokes and everything though.
But then how are they going to be kept perpetually tired and unhappy?
Finding people annoying isn’t the problem, people will always be annoying. If you find yourself exploding over small stuff, it means your mental resources for suppressing and tolerating such things have been depleted. Changing how you think of people can help, but I would examine your lifestyle as a whole and figure out why you aren’t able to maintain said mental resources. You may not be resting enough, you may have other problems. It might be hard at first if you’ve not explored this stuff before, but it’s well worth it in the long run.
Don’t dismiss physical problems as a possibility either. Something that was surprising to me was blood pressure, apparently it was causing me to fly off the handle at times. Literally all it took was some minor weight loss and eating musli, and suddenly I’m fine again.
That’s nuts, good luck with the sluething
How much data is a lot? Mine lost wifi privileges for putting ads in my stuff, but I’m still curious.
Eh crunchyroll killed animelab which was a better service all round, I guess what goes around comes around.
I didn’t even know it was a thing, thanks, I’ll check it out!
I can confirm Balatro stole straight up a week of my time at once, high recommend.
Fights in tight places is pretty good, though I think works better with a mouse.
Tunic is actually amazing, framerate bottoms out a touch but that’s mostly me refusing to turn the settings down.
I’ve also been playing Prince of Persia 2008, mostly to see if I could. You can enable gyro to mouse and you get up getting this neat 3d effect if you set it up right.
I’ve only had mine for like a month but yeah, so far everything has run out of the box.
Can’t believe you forgot New Zealand smh
Ditto, fuck me that goes hard
There’s a great Tom scott that goes over it, it’s really neat and wild that this was before the microwave was widely used as like a food thing.
If it helps this was one of the earliest uses of the microwave. They were experimenting with reheating frozen hampsters to see if a creature could be revived from such a state. The issue was that the defreezing options at the time were too slow, and didn’t penetrate the outer layer into the core of the creature, but with the invention of the microwave they actually got the process working.
Okay so typing this out it is a little cruel actually, but it’s still kinda neat and led to furthering our knowledge of the universe.
I beat the factorio DLC, right now that’s all I got and I’m clinging to that bad boy
Considering you’re already into card games, give Balatro a try. It’s got it’s basis in poker, but puts some extra spice on it that might interest you.
Chants of Sennar is also a strong recommend. It’s a puzzle game based around intuitive language translation, but also has a really strong story that keeps it interesting.
I played it at launch. Even through all the bugs and half finished systems, it felt like somebody actually cared about the game. The story, characters and city were and still are amazing. Bit of an unpopular opinion, but it was always a pretty good game, at the very least an uncut diamond.
Probably the cursed remixes on YouTube, they don’t need to know how much of a banger beatswapped uptown funk is.
I’m kind of in the same boat.
I think it can fuck with people that rely on self determination for security or self justification? At least the couple of people I’ve met that take issue with the idea seem to mostly be uncomfortable with the implication that their choices and actions might mean less.
