It would make the community a lot more useful. I’m not interested in visiting every new community but it would be nice to know they exist. Meanwhile having to open every post is very inconvenient compared to simply reading it in the title and know it exists if I want to check it out.
Engage content that you enjoy and ride this out.
Right now lemmy’s growth is driven by people pre-emptively leaving reddit even though their choses mobile apps still function. We’ll probably see another influx come July.
But for now all we as a seed community can do is engage the other topics we enjoy and build communities that have substance.
Eventually people will join to engage those topics instead of grip reddits demise.
We need nationalized electric railways and buses. Cars don’t need to disappear in order to increase access to better options. Governments need to stop lining the pockets of the automotive and oil industries by forcing us to rely on them.
I’m talking about this specific community yes. Since >90% of posts here are done by @Akhuyan this is barely a meta post lol
