I think you missed the point. Women often change their names professionally to get attention that they wouldn’t have gotten had they presented a more feminine name. I’ve known multiple Christinas who went by Chris for this reason.
OP is saying that doing this is a double edged sword, because if it works as intended, you’re working for a person who would have otherwise discriminated against you.
The Meaning of Life, too. Those two Python flicks never get old.
I think it’s reasonable to argue, “a super like that also shares the post is functionally different from just a super like.” It doesn’t seem nit-picky when discussing the reasons why someone might choose one service over another to want to be precise about the mechanics of one of those services, no?
Uhhhhh. Not sure which fucking Lemmy instance banned you, but sounds like a real bum out.
Do you require my aid?
Wait. People are having… fun!? They’re getting overpowered loot and mowing down the hordes of hell as if they were nothing!? We can’t let this stand!!
Maybe not gone forever…
Donan did mention that outside of trapping her within the stone, no matter what they did she’d eventually return. I can’t imagine her soul escaped Hell after we merc her.
It occurs 50 years post Diablo III, unfortunately.
I need to learn Lemmy’s markdown syntax. But I agree. I really liked Lilith as a character and her motivations were solid.
But then you win the fight, go back and the epilogue lasts all of a couple of minutes before the game loop starts over when you hop to World Tier III. It felt unsatisfying not to have a Prime Evil to contend with, and if I’m honest, the Butcher is a harder boss than Lilith each time you run into him.
So this looks dope, for sure. I wish there were more news about when to expect the expansions. This game is so much better than Diablo III in most ways excluding one: It’s a Diablo game without Diablo, which has left a pretty sour taste in my mouth after finishing the epilogue. The seasons will be fun, I’m sure - but I really just want the rest of the story that I feel like should have been part of the base game.
With the improvements Ruud and team put into Lemmy.World, my experience has gotten infinitely better. Lemmy is completely satisfying my Reddit addiction, and Memmy is an incredible app to navigate it all.
Overall, I’m really happy I made the switch. Had a 12 year run on Reddit, but Lemmy proves that Spez is wrong about where the value lies. If the content is water, there are dozens of ways to move it to different places, and right now Reddit looks like a leaky bucket in comparison.
I think it’s less that young white men actively supported Trump because the Dems didn’t pander to them, and more that young, upper-middle class, suburban white men were altogether uninspired to vote because in either scenario, they wagered they’d be okay.
The lesson seems to be a very clear and unfortunate rebuke of women as presidential candidates, but very specifically black women, as Harris seems to have gotten even less support in this demographic than Clinton did. It’s shameful, but I believe that if Newsom had been the nominee and ran a near identical campaign, Israel and all, that he’d likely be president elect today.
