Been obsessed with Crusader Kings 3 lately. I love how dynamic the game is
I live in a very rural town in southern Japan. Japanese people flock to it but i never see any foreign tourists. It’s such a picturesque little Japanese village – Almost out of a fairy tale.
What about external dependencies such as breakpad (which was also taken down)? I can’t find a single repo with the complete code-base.
No, it was mostly short bash/python/php scripts.
I knew a guy who boasted about the number of repositories he created on Github. Said he created over four thousand.
I took a look. He did in fact sit down and create over 4,000 different, unique repositories. Each with a README and some slight variation on a few lines of code. That’s some kind of dedication, I guess?
Buy a plunger before you need it.
yes, I agree. But the title shouldn’t focus on the money, it should focus on how crappy we treat our teachers in the US. The title makes it seems like the money makes her happier - not the working conditions.
If you look into where she’s from and where she moved to, the CoL Index is 50% higher. So… in relative terms, she makes roughly the same.
What’s stopping you? Academia is in dire need of software/computer engineering researchers.
My favorite star trek quote of all time.
Subbed. Thanks :) I love communities like this
OH yes, Diablo 2 is fantastic. If you plan on playing online, Tristram and Baal runs are all the rage :)
You might be slightly lost. It requires some knowledge of the Diablo lore in general. That said I spent literally thousands of hours in D2,/I highly recommend it :) you can watch videos to catch up on the relevant stories, its not a super complicated timeline. Maybeann hour or two to get the main points across.
It plays fantastic. 60fps on low, ~45 maxed out. Control work great for both diablos as well since they were both released on console
I just want to go back to the days of Diablo 2. I guess I should stick with D2: Resurrected and WoW: Classic. No extra fluff. I always refer to Classic as "WoW distilled. No extra stuff. No confusing battle pass stuff. Just play the game and enjoy.
Most days I fee like the “get off my lawn” old man when it comes to this stuff.
Maybe that’s a good idea. Going to /C/technology shows a view of all /c/technology sub’s that the instance is aware of :)
Posting to /C/technology would just post to your instances /c/technology
Or maybe differentiate between communities and topics? /t/technology aggregates all the communities around technology? That would be cool IMO
Also, we shipped yesterday.
Can we host it ourselves a la Mastodon / Lemmy / Fediverse stuff?
