What the fuck are you talking about?
I haven’t and likely can’t think of a good solution to handling the scenarios you’re talking about. They are good questions that someone smarter than me should address. However, to use those scenarios to completely admonish advertising platforms for blatantly obvious scams is asinine. “Well, what if a legitimate business starts scamming people?” should have little relevancy to the question of “Should we accept this ad from a user advertising that they’re going to double your money if you give them access to your financial accounts?”
I’m not saying it’s simple or quick to solve, but there is very obvious low-hanging fruit that could be dealt with but is somehow not because these platforms aren’t held accountable whatsoever. It has to start somewhere.
Uhhh maybe they should find the time to do that then? How is “we don’t have the time” a valid excuse? Either hire more staff to do so, or sell fewer ads.
Oh yeah. Marlboro Reds and black coffee got me through some rough fucking mornings in my early 20s.
It makes food taste like shit and by extension you want to eat less. At least, that was my experience with smoking for years. When I quit I gained like 40 lbs.
Tolon is an absolute shining gem of food in Fort Wayne and I’m thoroughly amused seeing it mentioned here. I’ve never had the burger but the duck fat frites are always great.
Classic over explaining to cover up a lie.
I never send anything other than “I’ll be out of the office today” for every PTO notice.
It’s outrage for the sake of outrage. I read the patch notes and the reaction to them in various places and had a general negative vibe about the game going into the season. However, then I decided it’s probably best to form my own opinion by actually playing the game, which I did all weekend and… It’s fine, at least from my perspective.
I specifically only made and played 1 character since launch and held out on creating a new character until the season started. So really, it just gave me an excuse to play more and try a new class. I think people who’ve played multiple characters into endgame content may be upset with the lack of content, but as with most games, if you invest abnormal amounts of hours into it you’re going to run out of things to do at some point and as a more casual player I don’t need to really worry about that.
Regarding nerfs, I’m playing a druid and did the Fallen Temple capstone last night at level 58. I feel plenty powerful. It’s harder to farm 4 mystery chests in Helltides but I’m completely fine with that as mystery chests never really seemed worth it to me anyways – I can get more legendaries from just running NM dungeons.
Overall, no, it’s not that bad. If you have been having fun with the game previous to the patch you will likely continue to have fun.
If the mods want to switch their name to something else, do it, but don’t hold the current community hostage. Go make a new community and hand this one over to someone who wants it.
Part of the joke is the fact that it’s so over-the-top. All the suggestions I’ve seen for possible replacements have been terrible.
Hades was the first game I played when I bought my Steam Deck. It works flawlessly and looks great. Definitely a good game to pick up for something on-the-go.
