did you tell them…“actually that does sound like a you problem…”
same problem different industry. if its not drilling for oil and destroying the environment (as we know it) it’s outsourcing labor and mining to third world countries to exploit their land, resources and workforce. destroy others ability to utilize their own land for their community resource production while pushing them further into poverty and “welfare”. and killing anyone who tries to get in the way or is willing to work on systems that benefit their community by shielding it from neoliberal capitalist multinational corporations.
“Nobody wants to work anymore” = Typical gaslighting and victim blaming propaganda from capitalists whose existence comes from exploiting the working class.

I wore the crap out of my pair of New Balance skate shoes, forgot the model. But they’re still going strong. Ive biked with cages, walked, work construction, whatever, they’re just dirty but they’re still holding up.
Can you bring a canister cook stove? something like a Jetboil? that way no need for a whole fire etc. you can boil water etc, cook basic stuff like ramen etc. make coffee…Hardy veggies should be good, beef jerky, cured meats like salami etc. dried fruits and nuts, bread, crackers etc. regular fruit, granola bars…i would just bring a little burner thing if you can it will be so much nicer than only eating cold foods etc.
Im beginning to use lemmy more and more and preferring it over reddit. Its much better, conversationally and without the suggested Jesus and Army and Navy ads etc. However my usage is still similar to reddit, ie scrolling and reading alot of things and memes etc. But the conversational interactions seem alot more productive, i like that.
alot of people dont. and it is possible that in doing so , or lack of doing so, has negative consequences that affect the lives of many.
this question alone is a great example of seeking knowledge. and the natural urge to do so.
