If you’re assuming it’s trashed anyway may as well try to fix it.

I’m absolutely loving it. I love that I can pace the game myself thanks to the turn based design, that my actions have consequences, that it’s a proper role playing game.
I’m about 30 hours in and it’s fantastic.
That sounds like there’s maybe variables not taken into consideration.
Tbh that’s the hopium speaking but I’ve taken a big dose of it.
I think it’s a lot of fun that these companies are developing ICBMs under the guise of space programs.
Well Venus already has a runaway greenhouse gas problem, so we’re ok there.
They can give away the data with the only intent being market share.
The world’s biggest store is Walmart, the world’s biggest cdn is Akamai, and the world’s biggest logistics network is DHL.
They might be good at being camels, but they’re terrible horses. And if you’ve ever tried to lead a group of more than a handful of people, you’d know they can never agree on shit. Someone has to make the call.
I’m sorry, I took this the wrong way:
Go figure! People with different personal priorities existing! What a world!
No reason to be that way, we were having a nice conversation.
You ever seen a camel? It’s a horse that’s been designed by a committee. Democratically run things don’t accomplish shit because you can never get groups of people to agree on anything.

What’s your ideal situation? They create make work jobs? Give the development and production teams some brooms and fire the custodial staff instead? Their job is done. Time to find new ones.
You’re not wrong. And it’s worse for the people who think like I do. We’ve been labeled “neoliberals”, a term I’m not exactly a fan of and labeled centrists. In fact we’re quite the opposite. We’re so conservative it starts to look liberal again, bordering on anarchocapitalism (which is more where I find myself).
It’s exactly that. There’s no one person, no group of people, that can control a market. It’s a force, an abstract concept at this point. Any thoughts that it can be controlled is hubris or naivety.
Well that’s the thing, I don’t really consider it injustice. I consider it as something that sucks, but things that suck happen. It’s just kind of part of life. You get past it. I guess that’s my view.
Like a farmer experiencing a drought. That’s not injustice, it just sucks.
I’m someone that would be Republican if the GOP hadn’t lost their fucking minds. You could call me a conservative.
Presumably you can already tell what I think. Those fucking idiots, I hope the contingent of that party dies off quickly enough that reasonable conservatives can salvage what’s left.
I’ve been laid off. It sucks, but you find a new job, and in the tech world that usually comes with a pay bump.
I think they had to drop split screen from the Series S, at least for now.
