You have the elitist weekend cyclists on 15-20k bikes and the casual commuter folks all rolled up in one list. Not the same crowd.

I’ve done it for almost 2 decades and confirm people are assholes.

The only reason he lost is because people were loud, reading, reposting and following. People who probably wouldn’t vote did because of the doom scrolling post being shared and talked about. Personally, I will continue to do it because this guy is running on revenge.

This and people getting profiled and harassed. So many stories of people in bone stock cars getting pulled over, stopped for long periods of time because an officer thinks they might have something illegal installed. People moding cars like this will most likely just pay someone to pass the test because that’s exactly how people get around these tests now.

Thankfully I’m moving soon. Definitely not going to miss that drive or slow internet speed.

Totally unnecessary indeed

When you live in the country it’s all slow.

I go in 5 days a week because my Internet is slow. My office has maybe 30% of the office in with different people different days. Friday is maybe 10% or less and I find myself walking onto dark floors.

Bro what? They had to pull up on the curb to fit in a space. That’s ridiculous .

Oh I’m aware why people gripes. Almost all the biggest threads I’ve seen are about it, memes, just and endless wave of it. It’s just a trip to see the Lemmy Patreon with 484 people subscribed to it with this many people on Lemmy.

You take any topic, with passionate fans and they’ll defend it. A lot of it probably from the backlash was the first thing they saw.

I’ll keep it real, I paid for Sync because of the decade history with that app and plan on doing the same (a post linked a way to do it) with the instance I’m in. I see me being on Lemmy a lot and looking forward to keeping the positive vibes going.
