Is the spin just for show? I can’t think of a benefit it would provide in a straight shot like that.
It helps to get lower, but they were screwed regardless.

It might have been for flare or it might have been to guarantee avoiding the roof/getting closer to the ground. I’m not claiming either but at those speeds it can be hard to drop without slowing down a lot
Honestly, with drone operators running with soon to be years of experience with these kamikaze drones, I imagine it just might be nothing but straight up flexing for the videos at this point
It might be for show, but I can also see that this makes it a more difficult target to hit.
