That’s true, but that’s no good if it never hits the App Store. How am I to persuade my friends to use it when there are partially complete features and they aren’t going to sign up for TestFlight? (Which is full anyway.)
More of an Apple issue to be honest, when you don’t have a feature complete application it’s very difficult to push past TestFlight if you aren’t ready.
It’s got a strong Web App however that also works incredibly well.
That was really my point. Instead of adding extras. It would be better to finish the basic feature set and then release. If features are never completed because of the distraction of new features then an app will never be released.
It has great potential but seems stuck in TestFlight 😞
Sad day!
Keep in mind Pixelfed and it’s associated Applications are built by a one-person team.
But it does get better and better periodically, I love it and more and more features come over time.

Guess it really depends on what you consider “extras”.
It’ll get there, we are at 1.0.0 in testing finally, hopefully we will see it soon, but I wouldn’t say it will “never” be released.
It’s almost there.
But I’d been almost there for some time. In April it was ‘by the end of the month’ In May it was two weeks away. In June it became ‘soon’
