“Why won’t people keep working like dogs? It must be because they’re lazy.”

Better optics than layoffs, and no severance is due. Seems like a great win for corporate.

Title is a question? That means the answer is No.

I believe specifically it’s whether it ends with a question mark. Does this title count?

“Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no.”

I don’t think the law is very strict. Sometimes the answer is yes.

Office work is unfulfilling and mentally exhausting. If they paid me even close to what I make in a corporation at a tire shop Id rather work at a tire shop.

I think there’s was a bit more affordability and therefore flexibility right after Covid. For a brief moment there. We had some savings and still lower borrowing payments. Now I’m not sure we can afford to revolt. Or I can’t anyway.

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.

Our Philosophies:

  • All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
  • Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
  • Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
  • We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

Our Goals

  • Higher wages for underpaid workers.
  • Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
  • Better and fewer working hours.
  • Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
  • Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
