I’ll start: RSS and blogs, news vs. social media XMPP vs. WhatsApp/FB messenger/Snapchat IRC vs. Matrix, Teams, Discord etc. Forums vs. Social media, Reddit, Lemmy(?)

Notifies me of new posts. https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.nononsenseapps.feeder/ For like reddit I do https://teddit.net/r/[subreddit]?api&type=rss For twitter I do https://nitter.net/[username]/rss Can display things in groups or all together. Lists them chronologically. No need for an account. No need to visit the site.
