Playing Spider-man 2, about 50% done according to save file, but this probably includes all the side content too, I believe I have done 70-80% of the main game. Really loving the game, from traversal to combat to story / narrative.

Only thing I am not a big fan of, is the mysterium side-missions. I am never a fan of time-trials and it annoys me when I don’t get 3 stars.

Also resumed Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout after couple of week’s break. I missed playing this. The game is pretty chill, but it still manages to keep you engaged.

What about all of you? What have you been playing? Did no one here get Mario + Luigi Brothership?

Edit: Forgot to add, I am also Playing Pokémon TCG Pocket. It’s a mobile game where you collect Pokémon cards and then do battle. Someone mentioned that battles rules in game are different from actual TCG rules, but I have no idea about that. It’s fun to spend a few minutes in a day to open my free booster packs then have some fights with friends or my kid.

I did not get thr new Mario bros game but it looks pretty good. MOAR Caves of Qud for me. I just made it to the Tomb of the Eaters (Endgame dungeon) and its ridiculously challenging. So I decided to take a break from it before I died and go see the rest of Qud since I have so much to see still.

Never heard of Caves of Qud (at least don’t remember it), looks like Dwarf Fortress, though I haven’t played Dwarf Fortress either, so could be wrong in that.

I would describe it as a 2D Fallout 1 thats based on Gamma World. I haven’t played Dwarf Fortress either so they could be similar. It

    Playing Ys X: Nordics!

Boat is much faster now and exploring the ocean is finally fun. Taking a while to progress the story because I’ve been trying to get 100% exploration in each area before moving to the next one.

I’ve reached Chapter 9 and I think I’m getting close to the end, plot has started moving faster and looks like there’s only one (rather large) ocean area left to explore.

    Playing Vampire Survivors!

Still playing this as a side-game. Not much to add, still unlocking new weapons/stages/characters.

Did no one here get Mario + Luigi Brothership?

Not yet, but with a holiday today I’m probably finishing Ys X and I’m thinking of buying that one as my next game.

Nice. Good to know exploration eventually becomes fun.

Are there any side quests etc. that you can miss out by not exploring? Or just some random chests and stuff?

I’ve still been playing Fire Emblem Engage in bursts, but don’t think I played it this week - however, I think I’m on the last chapter now, so might finish it this weekend. Although there’s still DLC chapters to do that I haven’t looked at yet.

What I’ve actually been playing is Pokemon TCG Pocket. I played PTCG Online a bit just before it transitioned to PTCG Live, and then continued with PTCGL a bit after that, so I was already familiar with how battles work. So far, I’m pretty happy with PTCGP. It’s a simplified version of the normal PTCG rules with custom cards without real-world equivalents. It is definitely more straightforwards, which is nice for doing quick battles but limits the types of interesting plays you can make. What I really appreciate is some kind of single-player mode (which they had in PTCGO but scrapped in PTCGL) with interesting challenges to do.

I’m not sure if a meta has emerged, but I feel that the online battles I’ve done are farily diverse it terms of the decks people use - I think there are more viable decks to use. In PTCGL, there were like 3 or 4 decks that everyone used, so that battles were really repetitive.

It’s still early days for PTCGP, but I think it’s a very well made game. Not something I’ll play all year round, but might dip in every now and then.

      Ahan, that’s interesting.

It’s fun for casual Pokémon TCG fans, but didn’t know if someone who has been in TCG scene for a while will enjoy it or not. So, good to see you liking it.

I just play it once or twice a day, so am very casual.

Ah, I didn’t see your edit to say you’d played it too. I’m not sure if it will appeal to a more hardcore player (I hadn’t played any for at least a year prior), but yeah, I think it’s pretty nice for newbies and more casual players. Some people will like just opening packs and might not bother with the battles.

One thing about PTCGL was that the app/PC client were really bloated, slow, and ran hot on my devices. The app for Pocket has great performance.

Yeah, the app is nice. And I agree about just opening the packs. That’s the main attraction for me, though I still do a few battles here and there.
