It’s almost like most of their “knowledge and experience” of warfare comes from vidya games. 🤣

B-but in Call of Battlefield 74 it clearly showed that capturing B flag with the T-72 worked perfectly. And with the 5x DPS bonus when using APDS rounds would beat a M1A2 at 5km

They think that their Wargame Red Dragon global chat experience really counts for them (TW: don’t EVER look at the Wargame Red Dragon global chat. Don’t say I didn’t warn you)

English imageboard, I would presume, for the same reason why the Turkish Online Defense Brigade shows up.

Most people on Lemmy post in English if if they aren’t from the country. It just makes it easier for others to understand, considering most of the worlds population speaks it ( yes more than Chinese once you count second languages)

Americans fucking suck at a lot of things, but Americans fuck when it comes to setting up wartime logistics.

That and the whole superpower thing. Superpowers are cool.

TBH those guys seem to be enjoying it rather than coping. Also their English is way too good for your average russian.

Doubtless they’re not average Russians, but young, terminally online Russians who frequent a Western imageboard. A very specific demographic.

Probably ones who have heard enough outside news to understand the real situation.
