2piradians@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's the worst video game you've ever played?English16·10 months agoBack to the Future on NES. All I remember is a series of pain in the ass mini games having little to nothing to do with the plot. One of them was called “That Sinking Feeling”, where Marty apparently had to platform his way out of his own stomach.
And E.T. of course, fuck that game.

It’s tempting for many reasons, and I like the area, but I don’t think I can make it work for exactly that reason…housing prices are sky high.
For me it would mean trading a lot of financial stability for quality of life, or having a commute similar to yours. Living in or near the city is probably still manageable for those who have been there for many years, but I think most newcomers will find housing prohibitively expensive.
Those poor bastards had no idea that by the time this would became reality, most of the results on screen would be junk they don’t care to read. News coverage is sold to the highest bidder.

It seems to me this is all a stalling tactic for unprofitable companies. Is that correct?

She was very nice when I spoke with her, but usually I dealt with another lady. The first time I rolled up I figured she would be cool when I saw “FORGIVE” spray-painted across her garage.
I’m not saying the team behind the AI definitely posted the reply on behalf of the AI…but you wouldn’t know if they did, now, would you?
Not exactly on topic but among so many other concerns, AI is a way to hide and dodge blame. I absolutely believe humans take the wheel when they feel like it and blame the AI when things go badly.
