The fact that for less than $100 you could get a refurbished OLED model with the same amount of storage as highest storage LCD model (512GB) is insane. If the OLED model was out and had verified refurbished models on sale back when I bought my deck, I would have absolutely done it. Not upgrading any time soon if I can help it since I love my deck, but damn it would’ve been cool to have the OLED model.

Real good thing I decided to get a refurbished LCD than going for an OLED model because I’m part of that small percentage of audio jack users.

I don’t know much about android handhelds or anything, but I feel like Mindustry on F-droid could be a fun game. No idea if the device is touchscreen, nor if there are physical controls whether they’ll work natively.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I absolutely wanna see the shitstorm that appears if it hits youtube and starts mass flagging the site because of all the MVs and other anime content like the sped up slightly higher pitched videos where they show clips from anime, hoping not to get flagged probably.

Having to do yard work or setting up holiday decorations outside. Ever since moving from a house to an apartment, I’ve had zero yard work outside of picking up dog shit when walking my brother’s dogs and the closest I’ve come to holiday decorating is setting up a fake indoor Christmas tree and decorating it.

Used to have to do a lot of leaf picking up and weed pulling growing up. Never liked it and still don’t because of how long it’d take and how I don’t like getting dirt dirty. Also, I was never a massive fan of decorating outside, specifically just Halloween and Christmas, because my family used to have a ton of decorations and my mom always wanted them a certain way, even if that meant taking a few down and moving them. Lots of work over a weekend. Looked good afterwards, but I can’t say I’ve missed putting stuff up. I’ll leave that to other people like the people near me who for some reason still have Halloween decorations up.

Do you like changes to older and newer pokemon to make them feel more balanced for the part of the game you’re in? Check, I’m pretty sure. Things are difficult enough that I can’t tell the difference as a pretty casual pokemon player.

Think fairy type is too OP? For region lore (unless changed or removed) reasons learned in the first city/town from an NPC, normal type is also super effective against fairy.

I don’t have a choice as there is almost no way I could convince my parents that using a 3rd party router would be the way to go. Especially trying to convince my dad, who once got pissed off because I wanted the password for the old family computer to remove a browser extension that was probably malicious.

I’d set up a 3rd party router by snaking an Ethernet cable to my room, but I’m not confident enough to change and keep up on router settings to keep me safer. Let alone updating the router if I go the route of a 3rd party nos, which I’d probably try.

I was in the same boat before I learned that there was essentially a rerun/remake/release/whatever you’d call it of Coraline in 3D. Immediately bought tickets knowing that not many people would head out to see it later at night. No drinks or food since I didn’t wanna get charged an arm and a leg, but overall was a good experience since the theater chairs were nice.

Otherwise, yeah, no reason for me to go to the movies besides maybe if I really feel like going in the summer if there’s a Ghibli fest going on (because masterpieces should be seen in theaters if the theater quality is nice enough).

I mean, I would have been just fine with my brother getting me a gift card to a shop I like, but he says that’s boring and how I should ask for something else. The best thing about the gift card to this shop is that it allows him not to worry about getting something I didn’t want, even though I’m not super gift picky.

So, yeah, the gift card to that place, which sells everything from games (old, new, and related stuff) to anime/manga stuff to even just board games, is usually the only thing I ever can think of since I know I won’t ever be disappointed.

Pretty sure it’s programmed to reset at night from the ISP themselves, so not much luck there.

Also I have in the past for emails, but that was before I got my VPN subscription. Nothing since then, but I ain’t chancing it.

I would absolutely be a seeder if my router didn’t reset itself in the middle of the night. That, and I’d be worried about getting caught by my ISP, even with my VPN.

Back when this whole API thing happened, I didn’t bother because I knew that almost nobody would listen to me as my account was fairly young and only had a small amount of that karma bullshit.

I left because I do a lot in my power to avoid seeing ads on sites/apps. Also, when I heard that it would cost a prohibitively expensive amount for a certain app (don’t remember which) to use the API and heard that unofficial mod tools for things like helping people with sight disabilities mod were gonna disappear, I dipped because I cannot support that type of stuff.
