Sometimes I wonder if Trump being president is just a CIA psyop to create a plausible narrative around why the U.S. had no say in abandoning democracy. It definitely makes W.'s legacy look not so bad by comparison.

I guess at least W. had the decency to wait until we were distracted and riled up about 9/11 before dragging us into a random war over oil resources. Especially right after Trump allowing Chevron to set up shop in the country, it seems kind of on the nose.

Maybe I’m just dumb and this is obvious, but there is barely local or national news in the U.S. right now, and absolutely nothing seems to be announced about international news until it’s given the green light by the administration.

In Trump’s Truth Social post, he reiterated the disputed claim that Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro is the head of Tren de Aragua — a possible hint at his hopes the Venezuela operation ultimately brings new leadership to the oil rich socialist nation.

It’s seeming not unlikely Maduro and his family might have been hidden on board that ship, right? Like just reading between the lines?

What if Nicaragua was a red herring and Maduro decided to flee to the Caribbean instead? it just makes absolutely no sense why Trump would attack such a random small boat headed to Trinidad from Venezuela bc he thought there were drugs? Then to make the announcement that there were 11 people killed and there are clearly way less than 11 visible in the video.

Why strike a boat with people hidden on board unless you were targeting somebody that you knew was hidden?

To me it also looks like there’s only 3-4 individuals on the boat. Unless they’re hidden under the tarp or they’re all cowering in fear under each other (which sadly, I guess is a possibility) where are the other 7-8 people that were killed?

Also, I’m a little skeptical AI could somehow clearly identify and confirm all 11 were “gang members” when you can’t even really make out how many people are on the boat.

Feminism isn’t about being an asshole vs a nice person. It’s about equality and it extends beyond gender.

Why are women treated differently? Why aren’t they given the same respect as everyone else? Why should anyone be denied an equal place in society based on things like race, class, gender etc.?

My only point about assholes is that an individual who is truly opposed to equality, is simply an asshole. Even assholes opposed to equality are still entitled to the same rights as anyone else, but the consequences of being an asshole (people not respecting or associating with you because you acted like a disrespectful asshole) are not violations of your rights.

Yes, bc I support equality. That’s it. That’s all it means. I try to treat others the way I would want to be treated. I try not to be an asshole to others. I know sometimes I fail, but I don’t go out of my way to do it. If somebody tells me I did something incorrect or hurtful, I don’t get offended, I just try to do better in the future if I see them again.

I didn’t know that supporting feminism was just supporting equality until I was an adult bc nobody ever taught me that. It’s not really surprising to me that some people attach other meanings to the word (both positive and negative), or that some people are opposed to it because of whatever negative things they may have attached to it.

It is still very surprising to me that there are people who will openly admit they’re just strongly opposed to equality. From my perspective, if you’re opposed to equality, that means you’re opposed to treating others as you would want them to treat you. You’re intentionally being an asshole, and you kinda forfeit any expectations of respect from other people. I still believe you’re entitled to the same rights as anyone else, but getting called out for being an asshole is not a violation of your rights. Equality means it’s ok to be an asshole to another asshole. That is feminism to me.

In February Pam Bondi said she had the first phase of files in her office, made a big public announcement about having requested all remaining files, and said she was waiting on them to be delivered. She even wrote a letter to Kash Patel about it and publicly released the letter.

Then when she read whatever was in that second half of files that got delivered to her, she suddenly wasn’t so eager to release it.

Even more than knowing what is in there about Trump, I would be most interested to know what banks knowingly financed what Epstein was doing. I would guess any bipartisan fears about information in there that could “destroy the country,” is more likely related to banks and corporations that are considered “too big to fail,” rather than any super scandalous information about individuals.

Idk if there is really a meaning. I think it’s all kinda chaos. So much of life is out of our control, and I think meaning is something people assign to themselves to gain a sense of control.

Try to be grateful for whatever you have, embrace the things you enjoy doing and maximize your time with other people that get you. When you find yourself doing something that you enjoy doing try to really be present in moment. Think about how you’re feeling and why you’re feeling that way. Even the way your body physically feels in that moment.

If you want to find an easy meaning or purpose try to remember even little waves can travel pretty far. Try to be kind and patient with others when they make mistakes, leave things a little better than they were when you found them, that kind of thing.
