Do you mean inductive load rather than magnetic load? Or are all inductive loads attributed to electromagnets?
Edit: also, don’t like… a lot of appliances create inductive loads?
I’m a dude in Oregon. I regularly make bad life decisions and do not make a habit of learning from my mistakes.

I feel that way about furries, but what are we going to do?
If I believed in a higher power, it would be because deer are engineered to collide with cars
I mean… you might not
We also have a historically high population of white tails. Cars are just their most prominent natural predator.
I was visiting from the states, but I was on my way to a Psychiatrist appointment to get an adderall prescription when I got hit. I just checked with her to see if I was concussed.
She said that I talked kinda funny, but it was just because I was an American.
Also, the safety glass lodged in my neck was just tiny shards and at superficial depths. The only real damage I took was a torn Dickies shirt, which is wild given the damage I did to the car. Does that mean I have an auto immune disorder?
I just straight up got hit crossing a crosswalk in Auckland, NZ. Did a full flip in the air, lost my glasses, and spider webbed most of the kid’s windshield with my head. I didn’t have to be angry. He took me back to his Mother’s to get me an ice pack, and she did all the work for me. I spent a few days picking shards of glass out of my neck, though.
Ironically, the previous week, another NZ kid rear-ended the car I had bought two hours prior, totalling it. That was the end of my car travel in New Zealand.
Technically slander, and no sane person would hear that case.
“they make something beautiful instead of death” Agreed, but your neighbor’s kid’s fingers might not agree after that M-80
I mean… maybe we’re depressed because of the crushing weight of the real world impacts of what’s being reported on. I absolutely believe that consuming dour media can affect your mood. Plenty of evidence. I’ve also had two friends die of poverty due to their incapability to afford medical expenses.
Then where do I come from? I hope you’re misinterpreting my sentiment, because I feel like we’re on the same page.
It might feel pretty dire, but all of this information is critical to understanding and empathizing with the people you might meet in your own society. You can opt out of forums (and should if it’s causing you distress). I wouldn’t suffer a buffer from the negative information if it meant a lack of information in general.
“SO HOW ABOUT THAT ISRAELI - PALLESTINIAN CONFLICT?”
I personally think it was part of the “Bone a Drone” movement that was used to collect samples of human DNA in order to synthesize fake human beings that would potentially make it into statures of power in order to create a new world order.
I don’t really, but that’s a much more compelling story than, “late stage Capitalism sucks for almost everyone involved”.
It was a good sustained 15 to 20 seconds, and the lumen it projected didn’t really fluctuate. It was more in the yellow than white spectrum as well. Makes sense for my initial description, but it doesn’t make sense for the Willamette Valley, the color, and pattern of movement. Not that I have a better explanation, but I’ve spent my whole professional life as a food QA auditor and lab tech, so I’m used to just reporting things I’ve seen and not reading into them.
Probably an attempt at a viral marketing campaign. Everything seems to turn out disappointing these days.
Atheist and skeptic, so I can’t jump to conclusions, but I watched a sphere of light move alongside me in my car while I was driving next to the Willamette river in West Salem, Oregon. It moved and stopped with more precision than I’ve ever seen from a drone and stayed about 50-some feet in the air above the river. I moved my head around consistently to ensure it wasn’t a reflection on my windshield. My friend had told me about his “alien experience” that sounded shockingly the same, also in West Salem, but a good year before this. He claims to have seen multiple and was just standing outside for a cigarette.
One for dying alone in the woods, please.
Maybe this means something. Do you live anywhere where lions can attack you?
…and are you sure?
