Do people find this to be funny?

Altra makes feet shaped shoes, which means they’re great for people with wider toe boxes. L.L. Bean leather boots are pretty great for wide feet. Asolo’s Drifter is also good after a little break in period.

They’re great wide fit shoes too. Most other shoemakers make the whole shoe wide, whereas New Balance still keeps a pretty tight heel cup, but has a nice roomy toe box.

They’re trying every angle they can think of to avoid admitting that people didn’t react negatively to this because literally everyone in the country has been negatively affected by people like that CEO.

You want shooting ear buds. They actually amplify quiet sounds, pass normal sounds through, and muffle sounds above the threshold. But they won’t really work as you want, because the entire concert is above the safe threshold. That means they’ll effectively just be ear plugs during the whole show, so you might as well just get ear plugs for 50¢.

For media companies it’s not usually shareholders that call the shots, it’s one obscenely rich old guy, like Rupert Murdoch.

That’s not righteousness. Let me ask you this. If someone killed your spouse, or told you that you can’t get treatment for your very curable, but otherwise fatal disease, because they’d rather have a little more money than they don’t need, and will never spend, and then that person did that a million more times, do you think the world is better with or without that person?

I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, but The Hulk isn’t real.

Ideas like these take a lot of money, and he didn’t have any of his own at the time. He was a student who was looking for funding for his ideas.

The guy from WeWork (Adam something) tried to do that and was basically laughed off the stage.

Ah yeah, I would definitely go to the theater more if that was my only setup at home. It’s amazing what you can put together from the thrift store though.

I have a 65" OLED, hooked up to a 5.1 surround sound system with floorstanding speakers, and a reclining couch, so I really only notice a big difference if it’s IMAX or if it’s 3D.

I go to restaurants alone when I’m out and about by myself, because a man’s gotta eat. But why would I choose to go to a movie theater by myself? I can just stay home and watch a movie for free, while being more comfortable. I go to the movies specifically for the event which is shared with the person/people I go with. Do some people go to the movies just to see the movie? Is the bigger screen that important?
