Oh thats what I had tried few days ago, thanks for confirming it:)
(I think the squid site didnt fetch all the metadata, but whatever)

Hm I see, I have sync to keep my history and bookmarks synced across devices (also helps easily share urls among devices)😅
I think the rest have explained it better, but I use a Mozilla account and I kinda trusted them, not so much anymore. I dont know if I’m a minority, I found this feature very useful.
I will probably keep using firefox until it goes too bad for my taste and switch to a fork and self-host a sync server
I think You know the answer
and so do I
Yeah consider this being rickrolled:)
But yeah, it’s probably capitalism and whatever adjacent to it
Newpipe fails too:/ (as well as the greasemoneky script I use on my browser)
Hm, just tried, it opens lemmy.ml too (btw, check if you accidentally blocked the instance😄)
I can open lemmy.world instance (I’m from mander.xyz) if that matters🤷
Probably a connection issue (or a lemmy.ca issue)
Aww, yay, thank you!! :))
Can I have an autograph?
I’m from Greece and I think I’ve only heard people talk about 9 lives here😄
This is a good comparison of messengers here:
https://eylenburg.github.io/im_comparison.htm
Btw, an imprtant aspect of privacy is how metadata are handled/leaked. Signal trues to minimize metadata leak to near zero (there are some other messengers that do that, like simplex)
Yo, the amazing digital circus, it goes hard (the first episode was rather brutal💀)
Ayy, this is the way (and once you view enough you switch to hot and then to active, then you exit and return in ~40seconds and start over)
Interested in this as well, posting a comment here just to find the post more easily:)
So far I don’t think I’ve met anyone
PS. According to the subscribers of the Greek community, there are probably less than 70 Greeks online on lemmy (and probably some of them live abroad), so it’s probably rather rare to find someone who uses it.
Ok that actually kinda works indeed, nice😄
Here is my attempt in a separate post:

I feel like though if you put too much site filters, results might be reduced in an unexpected way (like searching “X” thing on lemmy.world and lemmy.ml might produce fewer results than searching “X” on lemmy.world only)
May I ask, which wine runner do you use? I found that the system’s wine (wine.wow.WaylandFull on nixos) and the wine-ge seemed to works (sometimes only one of the two works, other times both). Did you get it to work with umu by any chance?
Also for some reason I couldnt get Lutris to properly run, but somehow Bottles works for me🤷
Btw, about dependencies, I found the Depots tab of games listed on steamdb.info to be really helpful to decide which one to install.
Hmm, thats interesting, will keep in mind
