Armalisation
Armalisation
I mean…they are making a lot of them, but they’re earmarked for militaries and other actual users. Civilian builds are almost always limited drops of factory second tubes put together by small businesses from my understanding.
Switzerland repeatedly driving home that Swiss weapons are geopolitically worthless and not worth the trouble of adopting. Why buy weapons from someone who might rugpull support for them at any time in order to save their own image?
First combat use of an ICBM at all, AFAIK.
The laws on warcrimes have always been a sort of mutual agreement, and they often end up being broken in reciprocity. One side commits perfidy, the other side is less inclined to take prisoners alive in return, as happened in the WWII Pacific theater.
I think its naive to think that there can ever be such a thing as a “good clean war” with the international community acting as objective and powerful referees throwing around red cards.
Russia hasn’t given a fuck about UXO in civilian areas for the entirety of the war, so I don’t see this as being an escalation. It’s their land, they’ll have incentive to take caution in their use.
Give em a little bridal garter on their landing gear
Well it’s a salt rifle, not a salt assault rifle.
It was never really more than a tech demo from my understanding. You had to muzzle-load the projectiles by hand, there wasn’t a practical reloading mechanism.
That, and if there was ever a timing issue with the firing sequence or a misfired round, it would be like firing a round after a squib load I would guess.
It is not a hypothesis without merit. Those civilizations were not built on the meteoric extraction and burning of fossil fuels, which will not be replenished for millions of years, if that. If we exhaust those fuels, or any resource really, at a global-industrial scale, it becomes dubious whether or not a follow-up civilization will be able to leverage those resources for their own advancement.
I’m no Wehraboo but I’d think it would stand to reason that the majority of German war equipment in general would have been destroyed or captured. Considering they fucking lost.
