The fryers are on wheels so maybe it was moved there later on when it wasn’t in use anymore.
Probably not the weirdest but it’s one I never understood: there was this guy who parked on the side of a path in the field, had his window open (during winter), sat in the car and watched Instagram reels of women (maybe only one specific I don’t know) and he connected his phone to the car speakers so he could turn the volume up to 11 for everyone passing by to hear. Ok, whatever, I thought. But he kept turning up almost every day and did the same thing. Sometimes he stood outside his car and leaned on the roof with his phone. At some point he even got a large tripod for his phone so he didn’t need to hold it anymore and just stood there, watching it for hours. I used to walk past him many times with my dog so I had a good feeling of how often and how long he was there.
I still wonder what his obsession was with these Insta reels and why he needed to blast it into everyone’s ears in the cold instead of watching this stuff at home. The guy clearly had mental issues which is sad of course. I’m not the type to just ask a stranger what he’s doing so I never found out.
Just started Animal Well and Tunic. Both are great games so far.
Adams cave is so beautiful and well ordered these days. He’s the best kind of hoarder.
Even if my life currently is not bad, there are and have been bad times. Not existing is never bad. So no.
Thank you Mr obvious. The point is that streaming platforms are changing the mentality and behavior to listen to random titles of different artists instead of full albums and that is also why albums don’t have a „story“ anymore. It’s too easy to click away to something different, skip a title (was already easy with CDs), be distracted. I personally own a vinyl player to combat this for myself.
Not that gasoline cars are gone (unfortunately) but I personally won’t ever go back to it. Electric cars are just so much better in any way except range and charge time. But those are honestly overblown topics that you won’t think much about in your daily life once you got used to it.
I’m conflicted. I enjoy being able to listen to anything anywhere but it makes me not listen to full albums anymore, possibly missing out on good music.
Turning off teams messages on my phone.
Making sure to opt out of all meetings during that time so no one expects me.
If my vacation spans multiple days, my only rule for how I should use my free time is to not just sit in front of the TV all day. Do some chores, go to some cool place, work on a personal project, go on a long hike, whatever. Usually I have plans anyways when I take a long vacation.
Exactly. My feeling is more the opposite of what OP is saying. Gameplay and innovation is king. Just not in AAA games.
My parents don’t force their religion on anyone.
So I don’t want to advertise an expensive product but the only thing that helped me finally save money and stop worrying about unexpected costs was You Need A Budget (YNAB). The concept is you put every single cent into categories like groceries, subscriptions, rent, put some aside for car insurance, saving for a new TV, and so on. And you also add every current, future and recurring transaction and connect it to the categories. Once you have this running for a few months it becomes second nature and you will not only be saving lots of money but also be ready for everything.
It has a learning curve but it’s worth it. There is a free alternative called Actual Budget, but you have to host it yourself and the UI is not great.
Being a ghost is not supposed to be the final stage. Some have unfinished business right where they are but they’ve been waiting for ages and that makes them sad.
Gift cards, books
You are right, the description on the product page is only talking about Home Wifi and playing at home. Which led me to believe it cannot be used remotely. Only when looking at the FAQ they clarify it can be used anywhere.
Many got over the hate and now appreciate them. They are also common addons for overnight hiking/bikepacking trips for when you set up camp and your feet are tired.
But it only works in the same wifi.
You have all the right to claim a spot in society and use the resources it offers you. It is not wasted! You can turn things around if you really try. I would really urge you to seek out therapy.
Tho I have a good (not great) IQ, I know I have trouble talking with people when I had some time of isolation. I then stumble often and easily forget very common words for some reason and then have to explain them, which is extremely embarrassing. I had a rough time during depression where I thought I might have Alzheimers or something. It has a lot to do with confidence for me I think. Once I feel confident and had a good flow, I can be a very good talker.
