Reddit was awesome. It’s sad what became of it. Jumped ships that took me to Lemmy-kbin Land!

I love games, gamification and chat roleplaying, socializing with people, volunteering, different lists and difficult topics!

  • At least I’d hope that they informed the driver/car owner about the AI system in their car and - if it so is - that The AI could decide against their life.
Then they “just” need to decide is it worth it to get such a car with such an AI system or not.

Not telling them that their car has such an AI would be unethical, to say the least.

While I agree with most of the listed items -

    • “Doing nothing is good for my soul”
It’s good to rest once in a while, but you thrive more likely while doing something meaningful rather than lie in bed all day.

    .

    • “My worth cannot be measured by my paycheck, my job title, or a list of professional or academic achievements”
While obviously not ALL worth can be found within the work life, one can find lots of meaningful things from their job. It can make one happy and offer many benefits that can help general life as well. And I wouldn’t be surprised if one earned some achievements through experience and good mentions on the way if you were passionate!

Eh. Not denying that also cars have cons, but some pros are 1. sometimes the car is the best way/in the shortest time to get somewhere 2. You can carry much more with you if you have a car 3. It can be used as a place to sleep in 4. You can give lifts to people 5. Some work require to have a car (if you need to be in many different places in a day)

I myself don’t have a driving license and I hope I never need one. I use public transportation and a bicycle to get around.

Dunno why loudness is a thing though. Reasonable volume should be advised.
