If you enjoy the iPod classic format, there’s tons of second hand ones that you can flash software onto for a more modern experience. Lots of aftermarket parts for customization and upgrades like battery and shell. I don’t recall the exact model year but you can search for iPod classic upgrades and there will be tutorials out there for it.

The safety testing is a problem because they often test vehicles solely against other vehicles in their class. Meaning a 5 star safety rating on a small car is only 5 stars against another small car. Against the suburban down the street it’d be illegal to produce them for the safety violations.

I’ve had great success with most cleanings and anything stuck on I just do as the other user said and scrub with a abrasive sponge and a little soap and warm water until I’m happy.

The crosswalk with the flashing lights is neither marked or unmarked, and drivers are not required to slow down or yield right of way when yellow lights are flashing, only flashing red.
Like sure maybe you don’t see lights flashing above you, but maybe pay attention at the road directly in front of you??
There’s every excuse to take blame off drivers.

It’d be nice to have some of the funds injected into public transit or similar infrastructure if it ever became common in North America.
Pretty unhinged but:
“Girl, are you from Mississippi? Cause you’re the only missus I’d pee on.”
Also bottom of the barrel but if you were to say it with a little spice, any state with two parts can be erotic.
“I want to New your York” or “I would North/South your Dakota” etc.

You can splurge the extra 100-200 bucks and have a power head compatible vacuum, a great warranty, and easy to repair for 20+ years. Hopefully my E3 lasts the rest of my life.

A few other options include ajazz, Epomaker, aula, or royal kludge like a couple comments mentioned. They are all similar and offer great bang for your buck.
All are hotswappable and depending on which model you pick, there should be some leftovers for a set of keycaps if the Razer keyboard is your budget.
Eczpurt@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•if you work night shifts, do you have a life? Are you healthy?3·8 months agoI work mornings from 03:00 to 11:00. At first I would stay up after work and try and go to bed at 6pm which was definitely hard for social life.
Now I “nap” after eating lunch around noon for anywhere from 2-4 hours, wake up, do whatever needs to be done and then I’m in bed around 9 or 10pm at the latest.
The nights are great for appointments and shopping since everyone is working but that also meant my friends were working and so it’s a little lonely until the weekends. Not sure if it’s healthy the way I’m doing it but I don’t feel sick and I get to enjoy my days more than before!
If you haven’t already you have to try Thrills! It advertises itself as “it still tastes like soap”. Unique and old brand of chewing gum that I think everyone should try once. Shouldn’t be too hard to find and it is certainly available in Canada.

I used to forget others birthdays but the people who matter most to me I’ve made the effort to remember as best I can. Last year I started putting birthdays into my calendar as a recurring event so I don’t miss them. I just set a reminder a week or two prior if I want time to get a gift!
Norm MacDonald has some great bits

I know I hate seeing an “empty space” and there being a cart in the way and in that case it’ll likely never get moved.
Eczpurt@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's something unique that you carry on you every day?2·11 months agoI’ve started carrying a fountain pen rather than a typical ballpoint. I think the writing experience is a bit more pleasant.
Love that Forever story is there as both original and extended version! Sticking to the strong lyricism rap themes Food and Liquor from Lupe Fiasco is great.
I think Eminem’s latest project The Death of Slim Shady was a lot of fun and showed his talent as an artist but it’s not for everyone thematically.
Eczpurt@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you workout/train/exercise? Could you share what/how your routine(and food/rest too) is like?2·11 months agoI try to train 3 days a week. Simple compound body weight movements are my personal focus. So pullups, dips, squats. Then accessories to compliment muscle groups. Bicep curls, tricep push downs and/or lateral raises, and Romanian deadlifts respectively. Lastly core is important for your overall health and stability so sneak that into your workouts.
I priorotize walking to most places if I am able, keeps staying active easier than dedicating time to running. However, sprints are a really great athletic movement so don’t be afraid to find a field and do sprints or something explosive like it.
As for diet, there’s no real counting anything for me. I typically just prioritise getting proteins on my plate then veggies and complex carbs. Try and cook your food yourself rather than eating out and you’re 90% of the way to your goals! The rest is consistency and effort.
As for local plants I’m not sure if there’s anything special but growing your own food does seem to taste better in my opinion!

Like another user said, money and power makes a difference in what you can get away with.
Here in Canada I’d suspect the number is fairly quite low if we’re talking independently. Cost of everything is high and wages are comparatively low for the most part. Maybe once you look at ages 45 and up its less bad but 30-45 probably less than 50%
