Probably the one reality show I’d watch.
I’d like to see this with Phoenix. It takes 2-3hrs to drive east to west.
When I woke up I was like “oh I’m sorry, I must have fallen asleep.” The nurse just laughed then it hit me, I was supposed to fall asleep. Lol
I was suffering from hyperemisis last year and it took 3 doctors before I finally found one to take me seriously, which I consider it lucky it only took 3. The last doc I was practically on my hands and knees begging them to take me seriously.
In the middle of all that I also ended up with pneumonia. Normally I never get sick so I was like wtf is going on. But anyways, a doctor finally took some chest x rays and 2 weeks later they call to tell me that my X-ray was clear. I. Went. Off. I ended up having to go to the ER 2 days after the doctor visit because I could no longer breathe, it was so painful. How is it possible that my x ray was clear??? Then another week goes by and the assistant calls to tell me that I do have pneumonia and a prescription has been sent in. I just hung up and filed complaints with everyone I could. That office was a hot mess.
Heat dome and heat island have been used for a couple decades in Arizona.
Haha I feel that. It’s gotten to a point that we don’t even know what subs we have and don’t have. Just decided to get a new card and let them run out. The seas have been nice to return to.
Just an fyi, your comment posted 3 times.
Of course, which is why her position was idiotic. But it was an emotional position, not factual one. The most you’re able to do is understand and empathize with why that person holds that position. It’s not rational, but not everyone is able to rationalize for the betterment of society, and those people are able to vote. The only thing we can do is try to out vote those people.
Wouldn’t that be because the members voted for more hours?
I agree. Like I said, I understand where she was coming from, wanting to prevent other women from suffering the same way she did. But there are other ways to go about that and I don’t think she understood that. She’s also black and let’s face it, there is negative history regarding abortions and black women. I mean to this day, you have doctors who believe in old racist bullshit like black people have a higher pain tolerance; medical treatment is often different if you’re white vs black as well.
Yeah, she was unable to have kids going forward and ended up needing a complete hysterectomy at 40. This was also the 90s and I’m positive the procedures are more advanced now. But there can be side effects that are often not talked about among pro choice people. I mean they are rare, but it can happen. I know a lot of women who ended up severely depressed after (my mom ran a support group). But that doesn’t mean abortion should be banned, but that mental health support for women who have had abortions is desperately needed and necessary, especially if the baby is wanted.
My mom was one. Didn’t realize until I was older, and long after she died. But yeah, she only voted Republican because she was anti abortion. She had an abortion and suffered from unintended side effects and didn’t want other women to experience the same. I get where she was coming from, but she definitely had the wrong idea with banning abortion.
Oddly enough, it was a comment on Reddit that opened my eyes to everything. Something along the lines of “Dems don’t want women to have abortions. But we’d like the choice if need be.”
I wish r/askhistorians mods would come here. This is a great question for them, if you’re looking for in depth and cited replies.
When it comes to food: Try everything once. You never know if you like it if you never try it.
I’m not talking get a whole plate of the food, but just try a small bite.
Pedialite. I know some prefer Liquid IV, but I like that I can get Pedialite anywhere and it’s relatively cheap. I give it to my kids instead of juice. They also have popsicles which is great on those super hot days.
Oh you have me mistaken. I’m not justifying my use of my truck to you guys. I’m simply informing y’all that despite what you believe, trucks are needed. I do believe that lift kits shouldn’t be a thing, they compromise the truck. But not everyone out here that owns a truck is an asshole.
People are wondering why I need a truck and it’s simple, I wouldn’t be able to do my job without one. But people in these threads often forget that and think “hurr durr trucks should be banned.”
All of these are great points to take into consideration, if you’re looking for a truck for personal use. You also compared the mini truck to a 150. You also failed to compare the load capacity of both vehicles if the 150 is used for its intended purpose, same with a 250 and 350. For instance, what is the load capacity of the mini truck compared to the F line? Am I able to haul a 5th wheel with the mini truck?
If I could, I’d buy 3 sedans rather than the 1 truck I currently own. But I wouldn’t be able to do my job. Id have to switch careers and we all know how easy that is in the current job market. I can’t haul shit in a sedan, pulling a loaded 26ft trailer is out of the question. It’s laughable imagining a sedan trying to pull a tractor.
These are some of the things people in these threads tend to forget. It seems like everyone sees a truck, closes their eyes, and just assumes the owners are dicks. And I’ll agree, tall truck owners are dicks, most of them are young who think they own the road.
But non lifted trucks? 90% are being used for its intended purpose. Lifting a truck lessens the load capacity so owners who need the truck for work, won’t lift it. At most, they’ll level it if they aren’t going to need the full load capacity.
It’s my truck and I shouldn’t have to haul things in it 24/7 to justify its use to you.
Most likely a 350. I’m a truck driver and have never seen a 650 used as a personal vehicle like the pic. Driven all over the country, in almost every state. And by your own admission you’re shit at recognizing make and model.
