Typically how close is the TDP of the CPU to the full system power draw? Can see a few refurbished on ebay that don’t look too bad
Is it fair to compare new to used though? Also how about power consumption, if it’s on for 5 years each watt costs £13, so for something that will be on a long time power is actually quite an important consideration
Can you get those as cheaply though? Can understand getting something other than a pi as you don’t need the GPIO but are there any good alternatives that are cheaper? If not may as well go for the pi
With this simple trick, everything becomes a bike lane.
He is still bad at it
What is the typical power consumption of the steamdeck when in use? If you wanted to get an approximation as to how long a battery would last for. Also how much is efficiency likely to matter? If it was 30W and you had a 30Wh battery how likely is a 1 hour lifespan going to be? Would efficiency just be a rounding error or something like cut in half.
Got a few demijohns filled in my loft with experiments.
1: Sourdough starter brew, nothing fancy just a test for what brewing with sourdough starter as a yeast source might be like. 2: Inverted sugar, see if inverted sugar makes much difference 3: Honestly forgot what went into this one, it looks more active than the others though. It has some bits of fruit floating in it. Really should write this stuff down next time.
Finally while not exactly brewing, I have a large bag of sloe berries that I really want to infuse with gin at some point, but need to get enough gin. Probably fill a demijohn with it because I have them so may as well.
And some of the younger ones were too poor to get one. 93 here and I remember growing up using 95/98/XP/Linux rather than iPads.
