They cost quite a lot, they seem designed around sharing, got an oral b one currently and the heads have little coloured rings you can put on them.

Korhaka@sopuli.xyzto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What technology will disappear in the next 10 years?English1·17 hours agoMy ISp shares a single IPv4 between multiple customers, NAT 444.
So my PC is on 192.168.1.4 on the LAN, my router is on 10.183.13.62 on my ISPs network and some number of customers are sharing 84.146.73.54
They don’t give out IPv6 addresses though.

More coop games, why does it matter if the enemy force is a computer or player? As long as the AI is good enough.
Korhaka@sopuli.xyzto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•Carbrain. Carbrain is why. They practically live in the damn things.English61·7 days agoLocal establishments often don’t treat workers well either. Plus they often just add 15% or so to the bill calling it a service charge, while technically its optional to pay people often feel pressured into paying for it and sometimes are actually pressured by management coming over.
So I don’t support any of them.
I would get a Nokia flip phone but they cost a bit. Cheaper to get something someone is throwing out

Korhaka@sopuli.xyzto Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•TIL the UK built a working hovertrain prototype in the 1970s and then abandoned itEnglish201·12 days agoNot really. Needs its own rails too so you can’t use other trains on it or it on other tracks. Regular high speed trains are capable of going faster than UK speed limits anyway so really it would be better to upgrade the existing infrastructure to allow higher speeds if speed was a concern.
A high speed train can also go onto non high speed lines, just at a lower speed. The reverse is also possible although generally you want to avoid blocking up the line too much with slower trains.
Build HS2 and then start HS3-12. Tell NIMBYs to go fuck themselves.

Not sure how the flow rate compares but the tap probably can be worth doing. I rarely bother though and just run the shower for a bit first.

I have been using rygel. I don’t need anything fancy, dump a few media folders onto any VLC player on the LAN.
