I could’ve sworn sprite didn’t have lime in it in Australia, yet I can find no evidence of it ever being made without lime

Cloud service may also decide that they’re tired of being in business and close without notice. Unlikely, but possible
Plex gotten around to av1 transcoding yet?
Yeah that’s fine until settings get disrespected and that shit gets re-enabled, I’ve seen this complaint from others too so I’m not alone in it.
They also just waste time on shit like that when they could be doing useful things like adding av1 support (full disclosure they might have done that since I stopped paying attention)
I see it as a substandard service which is getting bloat forced upon, such as live TV and other bullshit, and I don’t like that I’ve supported such a shitty company
I regret my lifetime plex pass
I hate when album style music is played in the context of a movie where the characters can’t hear it.
I would have preferred something like epic and old sounding for that scene, for example I like back in black in the avengers because it’s literally playing in the world and the characters can hear it.
The way it’s done Thor Ragnarok just instantly kills immersion.
Works better for me, I do av1 which I don’t remember plex even supporting
HEY WANNA WATCH LIVE TV?
No thanks I have my offline files
LIVE TV LET’S GOOOOO
Yeah I got sick of feeling like it wasn’t my plex server even though I have plex lifetime pass. Have stopped using it in favour of jellyfin
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
It’s not bad because it’s from reddit, it’s bad because it was so overdone and cringe and it should be left to die
Truenas is great for creating the zfs pool but I hated that I couldn’t also use the machine as a computer without making a vm, so I ended up exporting my zfs pool and then importing it on a Linux system with cockpit installed to keep a Web interface, definitely recommend looking into it
Fractal meshify 2 fits a bunch, I have the 2 xl which can do either 18 or 20 hdd from memory
I did the same as you, but wanted native performance on my Linux machine, so what was awesome was I was able to export my zfs pool from truenas and spool up a Linux distro and import it. There’s a project called cockpit and it has a zfs plugin which makes it easy to manage like truenas, but you can also use it as a whole ass pc at the same time
Being dead is undue hardship
I’ve found they’re also not prioritising the right things, like why would I want to integrate live TV into my “media server”? I’d much rather they integrate things such as better av1 support
I ended up stopping my use of Plex just for the multiple annoying things that kept adding up for me, it made it feel like a product I was using instead of a product I was hosting. It felt like some settings weren’t sticking and I’d always end up on the recommended tab despite explicitly avoiding it. I am a lifetime pass holder and still host, but have found myself using jellyfin more these days. Apologies for coming into the plex community and shitting on it but this showed up in my all feed.
There’s an even lower power a310 now, I think it’s even low enough power to be powered solely by the pcie slot
