  • Yeah, a bit of sense is all you need. I’ve not used spoofing tools but a few of my friends have - we live rural too and it revolutionises the game. Even our local small city centre isn’t really raid friendly - it’s not like you can hang a out Times Square and literally walk into a full raid whenever you like.

That said, the weekly Pokémon Club in rural areas is a great social, and mons tend to stay in gyms for more than twelve seconds making it a bit easier to get pokecoins. The game is still heavily skewed towards city centres though.

  • I’ve got one and it’s cool… but that’s about it.

It’s starting to chug now with modern apps (or legacy apps with new updates), the touchscreen is becoming increasingly unresponsive, that battery health is starting to go off a cliff… but all those factors can be levelled at any two or three year old phone.

The hinge is the problem. My understanding is that Samsung has made a better design for the SGF 5 and 6, but i’m already on my second phone after the hinge caused the phone screen to bleed out from the centre, and I’m getting the crackle of doom from the hinge starting to sound already.

If you’re desperate for a flip phone, then I’d advise you stay clear of the SGF3 and consider the Oppo Find N2 or the Nubia Flip.

  • Fair warning, I’m going to make a metric fucktonne of assumptions here, but that looks like a fairly modern British housing estate there with the associated infrastructure. Most greenery and pathway maintenance are contracted out to a third party as part of a service charge these days, and it’s cunts like this leaving tyre marks on the grass, or tracks where they’ve done an oopsie with their right hoof in 2WD mode or without traction control on that leave everyone’s maintenance bill that bit higher.

That, and it’s getting to the point where even a Land Rover Disco isn’t so much of a “big” car as it used to be, not with these yank tanks becoming more commonplace.

The size, and the location of it right on the edge of the road, might make it seem clever, but in reality it just makes it more of a bastard to cross the road safely for adults, let alone for kids.

    It’s frustrating as fuck.

  • Depending on the size of the organisation or how it’s funded if it’s public sector, then it may well be the “restructuring” that’s holding it up - and by that, I mean there are probably teams and managers screaming out for funded posts to be filled, but a blanket ban on recruitment may be in force while someone with a fancy title figures out the shit state of their staffing affairs.

I’ve had times when I’ve had 40% of my team’s positions open, and when I’ve asked for authority to recruit for already funded posts (probably for budget reasons), I’ve been knocked back because “nah fuck you, we’re waiting on the staffing review being completed”. I don’t really give a fuck about the future plans, I’m wanting to recruit for the posts we have now!

It’s frustrating friend. Shit doesn’t make sense.
