Endurance is an older nonfiction book from the 1960s about a ship that gets stuck in Antarctica. Despite sounding nothing like The Martian, it’s very similar - they’re both wholesome survival stories that focus on the “how”, rather than the “drama”.

Same. Any bookstore is good do for this. Sometimes I’ll go to my local shop and get a book, it then take pics of the recommendations that week. Then later I’ll look em up online

I just finished Endurance, a pretty fun classic nonfiction about a dangerous trans-Antarctica trip. I think it’s pretty well known but I hadn’t heard of it until I read it.
