A butter knife could cut them all too.
I can cut bread and tomatoes. A bread knife does a better job with bread.
Bread knife would like a word. Chef knife technically works but bread knives are usually longer and work much better at cutting without smooshing.
That’s interesting. I wonder how much religion plays into it. My marriage is monogamous but we are both open to each other about attractions outside the marriage. It is OK to be turned on by someone else or some other situation, and we can use that together. It also helps that we both don’t generally like other people; we have a close knit group of friends but most folks we meet outside that are obnoxious and gross.
I’ve basically learned that drinking sucks. A long time ago I would drink 1 beer a day, 2-3 on weekends. A few years later I cut it down to 1 a day. A few years after that I cut to 3 a week. This year I do 1 occasionally. When I have that 1 I sleep like crap, my stress score is higher, I gain weight and feel bloated, and it’s just not worth the buzz. I am considering a full quit, or cut back to 4 a year. I have quite the liquor cabinet, lots of good stuff, but basically stopped drinking it.
One good one. Supportive, listened to me, encouraged me to be me, put my needs first. I talk to them regularly and fly across the country to visit.
The other never listened, was totally phoning it in, is mow and has always been a terrible human being. I have all but cut them from my life.
I cancelled my contract early to train in my 3G for a “DROID” and never looked back.
Sounds like a stealership
I got a saddleback wallet for Father’s Day 10 years ago and it is gorgeous. If it ever dies and they still exist they’ll replace or repair it for free
I have a variant of this I love. 2-3 lbs Chicken breast coated in taco seasoning and enough chicken broth to cover most of it. Cook on high for 3 hours. Drain the liquid, add half a block of cream cheese and half a cup of salsa, shred the chicken and add it to the now melted goo in the pot. Stir and eat. You might need some time for it to heat back up.
My other favorite is a chuck roast and a big jar of pickled peppers. Cook it for 8 hours on low. Shred it, strain it onto toasted ciabatta rolls with a couple slices of provolone and Dijon mustard.
Quip was pretty awful compared to Sonicare.
It’s like posting on digg via Reddit except both are self hosted instead of corporate. Instances will also defederate if they decide they are incompatible.
I heard three different Old School quotes at work today from different people in independent circumstances. ❤️
Every instance is like a different forum, and they can choose to “federate” with others to provide a somewhat seamless experience. You only have an account at one instance but others recognize that and vice versa. Each instance can have communities, similar to subreddits, focusing on different content. You can follow, comment, and post in communities hosted on other instances that federate with your instance. Each instance has its own rules and culture.
When I am seeding a torrent with less than 5 seeders I just let it go forever. So far I have about 15 of those. Eventually I’ll have to drop them… but I’ll be there hero until then.
Sundried tomatoes. Goat cheese.
In Brazil I ate pizza with ketchup and mayo on it all the time. It was a thing there. The ketchup was a bit thinner and less sweet than Heinz.
Spring - it’s nice to see everything turning green again but all the trails are closed because everything is a muddy mess. 40s and wet is way worse than 0s and dry.
Summer - summer where I live is perfect. 70s during the day, 50s at night. Sleep with the windows open, wake up to birdsongs. All the outdoor activities.
Fall - cooler summer with better views, leaf season here is spectacular. We also have a massive bird migration that is fun to watch. All the hiking and biking I want.
Winter - can’t get enough snowboarding and fat biking. Some days it is cold AF but that is easily addressed with clothing and gear. Sometimes I wear ski goggles to go for a walk.
So in short, my favorite season is everything but spring lol.
Well, it’s better than Texas.
