There’s a video going around, shot on a phone of one russian waving their arms, trying to get a military car to stop, because there are mines on the road. The car then hits the person waving their arms, and then (presumably) the mine as the cameraman shouts and the video is very suddenly cut off.

3·24 days agoThings can change if you complain enough to the right people. It isn’t “it is how it is so we shouldn’t do anything”. Contacting government officials or consistently reporting illegally parked vehicles might some day improve things.
I also bike to school every day and I do expect cars to yield when they should. If you let them go when they should’ve yielded, they ain’t going to yield to the next cyclist and might kill them. I’d rather not condition drivers into thinking that bikes will always give them priority.
Do you not see cyclists because they don’t exist or you don’t see them because they use different roads than you?
Just because most don’t doesn’t mean that no one does.
Why can’t the cars just pass then? Why do cyclists have to give away a lane that is made for them just so cars wouldn’t have to wait 10 seconds to pass the van?
Do you really think that anyone riding a bike in the bike lane would come off a bike iust to avoid a stationary obstacle? Most would pass them on the road (which is what makes the van parking in the bike lane dangerous).

Yeah, my PC is glowing bright blue whenever it’s in sleep, because of the side panel.
(IIRC) the changes are reverted after each update so you’d have to re-install every app.
SteamOS is immutable, so you can’t install system-wide apps on there, only flatpaks, appimages etc.
Rural areas support agriculture? How? By taking up space that could be use for farmland? Or do rural people somehow buy more from farmers than city people?
Heroic launcher is also an option for EGS on Linux.

(At least where I live, if a bike is on the road, it’s a vehicle, if it’s on a bike path, it’s a bike)
