^^ It’s me, he’s talking about me and my tribe of people!
…gimme the news, I’ve got a bad case of luuuuuvin you!
A+ Cert in IT is fairly basic and isn’t all that useful besides a general overview of some aspects of the field. However, the most valuable portion of the cert is on troubleshooting methodology and that carries you through the rest of your career. It’s pretty common in a nutshell, try known fixes to previous issues first, then work from simple solutions (check power/cable connections, reboot, etc) to more complex solutions (reformat disk, clean wipe, etc).
The amount of times I’ve been on a million dollar salary engineering troubleshooting call and things like “checking that the credentials are working” get skipped in favor of looking for an issue in a newly written script is hilarious and happens far too frequently.
It’s not that simple solution are necessarily the most likely but that you can rule them out quickly.
It’s a skill like you say, just funny how that cert always comes to mind (it’s the entry level cert for IT for people not familiar).
India kinda got fucked by Europe in the earlier chapters, lol we let em have this one I say.
Valve pushes the medium forward in most everything they do. And they do it while not being dicks, too. I hope they can stay true to this direction forever.
National Guard isn’t going to fight
Pretty great 2nd date in my experience, not a great idea for an initial date unless you know the person ahead of time. But can pretty quickly reveal if they can cook too!
Yep! He’s defeated Darkseid even (I mean technically it was a team effort but Batman executes the Coup De Grace).
Idk if Batman could deal with a real world Superman in our plausible semi-future scenario, but some aspects pf the character could for sure be emulated I think at a certain technological point of time :-)
What about post-emptive violence?
Lmao, yeah…these are the things I spend my days thinking about lol
Batman seems like a potentially plausible reality in the future, factoring in a fuck ton of money AND the Batcomputer, one of the most underrated aspects pf the character. Assuming he’s working with next gen tech on the computer you could plausibly consider that the Batcomputer has some incredible AI capabilities that could give his normal power set to a real world person (to a degree). It could make plans, develop new bat gadgets, research, create work out and training regiments, etc etc. Wouldn’t fit for OP’s question but someone could eventually become somewhat of a Batman in the future with enough drive and money.
I think it’s best to have a roster of accessories for EDC tbh. You choose the loadout that makes sense for what you’re doing not bringing everything everywhere every time.
Flashlight for me comes with me when it’s evening/night or there is work where it might be handy (car repair for example). But it’s not in the starting line-up just a 6th man coming off the bench frequently.
Great field, you’ll love it. Except on vacations!
Hahaha suddenly one day you do wake up and find yourself working in Cybersecurity when all you wanted to do originally was block some annoying ads.
Yep people complain about CEO salary when they don’t realize that is how much it cost to pay them to leave their current (successful) situation in order to take on that role elsewhere. Not always the case, some come from within and get paid well to stay, too.
Salaries are definitely too high in a lot of cases, but you’re paid based on what you can command on the market and not a penny less. But yeah it fucking sucks haha.
Yep, well said. For OP’s question… It’s pretty common to see a leader bring his whole group with him/her wherever they go and people follow because having a good leader is pretty tough to come by. I know a lot more people loyal to a particular person than a particular company.
Oh no doubt, Steam Link is super easy to use. Once quality catches up it seriously might become the Stream Deck by default at home.
