  • I know it may sound callous, but if you have skills. A lot of countries are looking to fill skill shortages, you could emigrate to somewhere with a sensible health system.

Failing that, as someone else pointed out. Grassroots action!
Get involved, change the narrative build up from local level. Shooting CEO’s is not a long term solution, yes it grabbed attention, yes it showed how fucked off the population really is… build on that momentum.

  • Yes because fair skin implied that you were rich or upper class. White/pale skin = not working the fields or as a maid cleaning and getting dirty.

That notion got turned on its head relatively recently, when in the 1920 Coco Chanel got a sun tan whilst in the French Rivera. Being tanned no longer meant that you were “low class”.

A lot of old fairy tails are about paths to becoming rich. When Snow White was written it had little to do with race, if anything, and everything to do with classism. There was virtually no social mobility, if you were born poor you stayed poor! These are not aspirational stories designed to motivate you to better yourself, they are there to remind you of your place in the world.

  • As someone who deals with lactose intolerance.

Just don’t make it a big deal, if you can’t eat something, don’t eat it. Your needs are important, but other people are equally entitled to their own enjoyment.

I hate vegans who only do it to virtue signal, it is a personal journey keep it that way.

If someone is thoughtful enough to ask about your dietary requirements, they are probably “good people” and won’t care about it. They will just make allowances for you.

    An anecdote about dietary requirements:
I have a sister in law who cannot eat onions/garlic/leeks etc… she does make a big deal about it, no dishes can have those ingredients when she is around.
Her intolerance is about at bad as mine, she gets bloated and gassy… So not dangerous, just uncomfortable.
It always feels difficult to deal with. My view is, if you want to make potatoes with cream sauce, enjoy it I’ll eat something else.

  • It is a combination of this and the power of propaganda.

When you can control the information that people consume, you can have a huge influence over what they think.
If you can influence the thoughts of a big portion of the populous, you can create control structures. You use these control structures to move people into their emotional decision making more often. The more often you can keep people in their emotional decision mode, the easier you can control what they do.
The thing is, the easiest way to keep people in their emotional thought mode, is to pull the fear and anger levers. Keep people afraid and angry, and you can steer society.

The other problem with this is, the people who see through this kind of thing are not the majority.
The people who can see through the techniques, are not always the traditionally “smart”; but higher intelligence is certainly an advantage.
