As a kid, I was taught to tip 15% for standard service. I still do that today.

20% is for exceptional service. 10% for mediocre. 2¢ for service that’s so bad they should probably think about getting a different job.

Anyway, getting 15% is still very easy. Get 10% the way you said. Now add half of that.

Having different accounts for different interests suggest to me that there’s a missing feature in Lemmy. I can see why some people might want that, but Reddit had multisubs for that need. Lemmy doesn’t have that.

Why did your first account become unusable? What was the problem?

Why would I need more than one? A couple comments don’t show up once in a while, but other than that, I can get everything from one account.

Seriously. They need to stop giving us time travel stories to shoehorn Kirk into the series. Let it stand on its own without having to hearken forward to the Original Series.

It’s a good show, and it deserves to be its own good show.

If there’s really low viewership, it can cost more to keep it on the platform, as they still have to pay some royalties and stuff for it being there.

Same reason that Disney is pulling lots of shows from Disney+ and Hulu right now.

But Strange New Worlds takes place 100 years after it. It’s less than a decade before TOS.

I would love that so much. I really want to see a scene with various kinds of Klingons.

Kor is related to Kol, from Disco S1. Not sure how closely related, but they’re both of the house of Kor. With Kol being the head of the house when he died, and Kor being the last member of the house in DS9, maybe there’s some opportunity there to connect the stories.

Maybe Kor wants vengeance for his cousin’s death, and since the Discovery is now gone, he just goes after the Federation’s flagship.

That’s a nice father/daughter moment

It’ll be particularly interesting to see what they do if we meet any Klingons who were also in TOS.

Will they show them as Augment Klingons, as they did in TOS? Or will they ignore it completely?
