Sorry, I should clarify. I’m hoping to possibly have a setup like this:

1. Browser makes a request to an eepsite
2. The router sees the request is to a domain ending in .i2p and forwards the request to a service running on the router
3. That service then performs the necessary encryption and establishes connection with the I2P network.

I’d imagine it’s a similar process for other protocols and networks. No idea if this is possible or desirable.

Sorry, I should clarify - the list is items I believe I’ll likely need and the question marks indicate that I’m not sure if they’re necessary or that I’m not sure the specifics about what I should get. For example, I’m sure I need resistors, but I’m not sure if I need everything from 1Ω to 1MΩ, or which ICs to get. I was also unsure if I should get a variable power supply. Hopefully that makes more sense?

I’ve seen a lot of descriptions of Tailscale but still have no idea what exactly it does. I get that it uses Wireguard, but what differentiates it from a typical VPN setup? NAT traversal?

Have you looked into either Obsidian or Logseq?

Obsidian is not open source, but uses Markdown for notes just like Logseq. Very popular overall.

May I ask why? Using alternative sources from the vendors themselves usually isn’t any less secure than using the official F-Droid repos. It’s a common thing on Linux.
