Cheers!
I was going to sort it out myself, using my old account, but then I… didn’t. Because then I’d have to relog, and I’m lazy.
Oh no, you!
Cheers!

I was on a business trip, so I had some extra time for a change.
Rewatched “Heat” (1997). I thought I hadn’t seen it, but I must have a long time ago, as I remembered the ending. Still a great movie, though. Remembering the ending halfway through didn’t ruin the enjoyment. 8/10
I also saw “Predestination” (2014? The one with Ethan Hawke…) after a coworker recommend it. A good movie, but I’ve seen enough brain fuck movies to predict a lot of the plot twists. Still pretty good, though. 8/10.
And I finally got around to seeing Top Gun: Maverick. I wasn’t expecting much beyond trying to recapture 80’s cool-guy-story, but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. F14/10.
Yup. I used to live next to a housing coop. It was is (It’s still there, I just don’t live in that city anymore, hence my predispositionfor past tense) the “experimental” neighborhood of the city, so it attracted some rather interesting people as well, but the place was nice and it seemed to work pretty well. I used to walk via there twice a day between daycare and the most convenient bus stop.
I would think so? Unless it has in it some of that weird archea that normally live around 200º undersea vents… I’m sure they’d find your tea to be quite a nippy environment.
EDIT: Disregard. I misunderstood what seeping is.
No. NK has a bunch of artillery hidden in the forested mountains just north of the border. And and SK has a lot of population centers within within firing distance. And this includes rockets/missiles with some rather spicy warheads.
And rough terrain ensures that a quick blitz to topple the government and their nuclear arsenal won’t work.
Sure, NK will not be able to hold off SK in the long run, especially if SK invites friends. But Seoul will be leveled.
Plus, China really does not want a US ally on its border, and are likely to intervene.
I just wanted to relay my coworkers opinion that laser operation was worth every Øre (our equivalent of Penny)
It’ll be fine as long as nothing is chambered, and even if something was, it shouldn’t generate any heat unless they accidentally reverse the polarity.
I always wondered if freeze drying my clothes would be better in any way.
Also, for a period of my life, I used to put clean underwear in the freezer. That way, if the morning shower didn’t wake me up, getting dressed certainly would. 1/10 would recommend.
What about laptops would cause cancer?
Probably not. They aren’t mass produced to the same extent because while there is a market for them, that market isn’t even close to as large as the microwave market.
Also, I highly recommend Technology Connections’ video on freeze dryers, as it highlights why it’s not as useful as they may seem - They have their uses, but freeze drying is not the ultimate food preservation method.
The video goes in depth into how freeze drying works (and doesn’t), and I recommend watching the entire thing and evaluate whether you actually need one.
Is this self propelled artillery, towed artillery, a technical, or an immobilizer system?
I think you’re on to something; I’m an introvert norwegian, and I’m a social recluse even by norwegian standards. I’ll take sideways sleet any day rather than risk being spoken at.
Because I’m a functional adult who can moderate myself and retain some professionalism?
Also, even if an employer is ass, stories of you making a scene will spread to other potentially better employers. There are no advantages to burning bridges, but the disadvantages can be many.
Fette bra!
I will not answer the “good deal” aspect of your question, as I have no idea of the laptop market on your side of the Atlantic. But what I can say is that I steer away from HP in general nowadays:
Not really. I’ve trained dogs way older than that, but the complexity I’ve managed to teach them varies. Dogs want to be your cool bro, and given enough positive reinforcement, they’ll do whatever it takes, provided that they understand what it is that you want.
Disclaimer: I’m not a professional dog trainer. I just grew up with dogs. Golden retrievers and Field Spaniels, mostly.
I have some chargers for my RC helicopters days. They’re awesome. They can charge almost any battery type (although it took ages to charge my 12V 200Ah AGM battery), and when it’s done it plays a small fanfare.
Nervously glancing over at the stack of Exos 10TB drives I have as leftovers after upgrading a storage cluster to use 18TB drives
She was. Now she’s not.
