1 year agoI used to have an Asus aspire that would barely run games and overheat in less than two hours, I abused the crap outta that thing. Ended up getting one of those laptop coolers, had one fan in it and some sort of aluminum top. Really the cheapest thing you can find, and it did the trick. So I’m thinking you might be better finding another solution to your issue, something like cleaning the fans, or re-applying some thermal paste if possible.
I agree with the SteelSeries, great headset! Though if you don’t mind going wired you could pick any studio grade headset and pair with a separate mic (or if you want it attached modmics are good).
That way you don’t have to compromise on the quality of the headset while still being able to use voice online.
I’m currently set up all wired, and use my bluetooth earbuds for if i want to go away from my desk (like if i want to listen to videos for which when laying down a headset would get in the way)
