I personally wouldn’t because supporting them (by using or paying) will bump them up on App-store popularity lists when you search for “Lemmy” and that would only keep misleading more unaware people.

Regarding the depression. As long as you are conscious about it and have had therapy for it, just lie. Lie to become a pilot if it’s really your dream. You know yourself if you are going to be able to learn and drive it.

If humanity can’t take care of its environment, then that’s what it is. If we do, great. But it doesn’t look like we can. And yeah, that’s sad—but it’s also okay. Because that’s nature. That’s reality from a perspective beyond just humans. If we can’t sustain ourselves, then so be it. Nature and time will carry on. And that has to be okay—otherwise, you’ll always struggle.

If you decide to adapt this view you will struggle less. Also, it won’t change how you choose to behave either. You can believe this AND care for your surroundings. I still do.
