I am not sure about that. If you take the Ukrainian figure of +200k dead, that would mean 0.14% of the Russian population died in that war. In Germany, 0.11% of the population died from covid, but fortunately I didn’t know anyone from that.

Fair enough. With libreddit, you don’t give Reddit any traffic or views, because the libreddit instance already scraped all information.

But you have to consider the difference to Reddit’s karma system. If you have a high-karma account on Reddit, your comment or post trends much higher. That’s not the case with Lemmy, as far as I know.
