Ah. I don’t think it’s the taxes themselves, I think it’s the transparency of where the money goes, why the working class is paying far more than million and billionaires.

We carry this country and feel we’re getting shafted in the long run. Free school lunches being removed, little to no support for under privileged, elderly. The latest with the big beautiful bill further destroying the healthcare. USA is being torn apart from the inside out and nothing we can do.

It’s hard to not be upset when you’re paying registration fees, property taxes, state taxes, etc, and run over the same fucking potholes for years for example.

I’m confused. You say taxes are not paid by the employer before the employee is paid, but you’re also saying Americans are always whining about taxes coming out of their paychecks?

Had a similar argument with my dad when he was pulling some shit about handouts. I said mother fucker, you were on WIC when I was growing up, who the fuck are you to deny someone else the same support you had? Never brought it up again.

Had me in the first half

I got second hand ubiqui switch, gateway and 2 waps. I like it a lot, but man if you want to something it could vary 10 different ways depending on old/new UI and what version you’re on. Shit is always moving around.

Example. I accidentally blocked a tablet and removed it from my network. Device would not connect back, even after manually adding the MAC. Took hours of searching, all different “solutions” to get it back online. Rebooted all my devices, cleared DHCP leases, swapped between old and new UI, no luck. Device would Not show up in disabled at all for me to unblock.

Got the idea to manually add it, waited a few moments for the refresh, then blocked it. Waited again until it showed blocked and unblocked it. Finally worked, but Jesus it was difficult to unblock when block was literally tap a button.

Other than this (you’ll see similar complains with UI varying so much, or advanced features missing) for home and prosumer use, I’m very happy with ubiquiti.

Not sure why you’re downvote, you’re absolutely right. People scan for open ports all day long and will eventually find your shit and try to break in. In my work environment, I see thousands of login attempts daily on brand new accounts, just because something discovered they exist and want to check it out.

Don’t look up parking lot rules in america, dead space like it’s going out of style just so crowds can shop on black Friday and Christmas.

Was talking to a friend about this a few years back and we never looked very far into it, but we thought maybe it was just nature saying “go to sleep!” And warming you up to calm the fuck down and rest.

Definitely does to me. If I stay up all night, around 7 or 8 am I get super hot, like my body is pissed. Without fail, morning brings massive body heat increase without sleep.
