!dadforaminute@lemmy.world exists, but no one has posted yet.
@Nougat@fedia.io @khannie@lemmy.world Should we try and grow it?
You could try growing !askdad@lemmy.world.
I found a few, none active, but some which could be consolidated or revived.
Correct. If no one from your instance has subscribed to a given community yet, it might not show up in your search results. Lemmyverse.net is a good way to find small communities on other instances.
A RES-like userscript to easily navigate Lemmy with your keyboard.
Violentmonkey + Lemmy Universal Link Switcher
Best way to avoid accidentally leaving your home instance.
Lemmy Universal Link Switcher, or LULs for short, scans all links on all websites, and if any link points to a Lemmy instance that is not your main/home instance, it rewrites the link so that it instead points to your main instance.
I guess I’ll go first:
https://lemmyverse.net/communities
Best way to search for communities across the entire platform.
Kind of surprised that you went with lemmy.ca for this community over sopuli.xyz or lemmy.blahaj.zone, but I guess Canada and Norway are pretty good friends :)
Nice! You might also consider promoting it on !aviation@lemmy.zip. Perhaps you could even work with the mods to pin links to each others communities in the sidebars.
Yeah, if no one from your instance is subscribed to a community, it won’t show up unless you search for it, which kicks off federation.
I’d need to test this in a test instance first rather than testing live to avoid breaking everything.
That sounds prudent :)
I don’t have an ETA on that, sorry, I know it’s been a while now.
No worries! Anything I can do to help?
Could it have been !ifyoulikeblank@lemmit.online?
LemmitOnline is a one-way reddit bridge, so not particularly useful for soliciting recommendations.
Tagging @InEnduringGrowStrong@sh.itjust.works and @TheDude@sh.itjust.works.
Any updates or progress towards this? What would the next steps be?
Yes, I believe pikachu is modeled after a pika.
That’s great to hear! Thank you for the work that you do.
Damn, that sounds unfortunate. Hope the Brits get things get sorted out. It would be a shame to lose feddit.uk. Sending love from sh.itjust.works.
Looks like the sub.rehab project is no longer active.
A “spiritual successor” to this project has been created by @rglullis@communick.news over at https://fediverser.network/communities
