Lemmy Universal Link Switcher, or LULs for short, scans all links on all websites, and if any link points to a Lemmy instance that is not your main/home instance, it rewrites the link so that it instead points to your main instance.

Yeah, if no one from your instance is subscribed to a community, it won’t show up unless you search for it, which kicks off federation.

I’d need to test this in a test instance first rather than testing live to avoid breaking everything.
