I’m very surprised anyone in this community would actually believe this. As several of the cross posts detail, India has better worker protections than this. It’s almost guaranteed fake. Also the text doesn’t match up across the screenshot so it looks photoshopped in some way.

2 years in the late 90s early 2000s was a millennia. You can’t compare 99 to 01 in any manner.
Everything you touch and use involves plastics and petrochemicals. Even stuff you wouldn’t think of like the coatings that allow street signs to reflect better and have massively improved safety. Lightbulbs? No more efficiency for you, most LEDs are on a plastic substrate. We will never get away from plastic, not at this point. You could make it so that food isn’t wrapped in plastic and that wouldn’t make a dent in our plastic use.
Huh we bought an expensive air fryer because my in-laws wouldn’t stop bragging about it. It was on super discount because bed bath and beyond was going out of business, but still super expensive. And I’ve never had any problem cleaning it, in fact it’s the easiest dish we own to clean, the grease just wipes out and the tray is removable.

Nope, because I don’t give one shit about those kinds of games. Nintendo and indie games have never cared about graphics and performance. I haven’t owned a PlayStation since the PS2, and I’ve never owned an Xbox. Crazy how if your only console is a Nintendo then you never really care about that stuff. I do have a gaming pc but still play mostly indie games.
Except it has the opposite effect. Now people who have their lemmy configured to filter out the word “suicide” in posts get to see this post because there’s no way in hell they have it configured for every “redacted” version of the word.

Mlem is a lot better than Voyager. Better features, faster, has fewer errors messages. At least for me.

My guess is focal length. Most facial photos with tons of detail will be close up selfies with a short focal length, thus increasing size of the face proportionally.
