they are referencing the meme, most people mishear it as ‘wrapped up like a douche’ vs ‘word up, i’m a douche’ due to the way it sounds

most hotels will have a hotel safe and sometimes an individual room safe and your belongings are usually only protected from theft (insurance wise) if stored in a hotel safe. Leaving your passport in the hotel safe is completely normal especially for a multiple night stay. With so many thrown out it sounds like they were all being stored together in the hotel safe. oopsie accidents happen

A couple classrooms I was in had an intercom buzzer that either had it’s own speaker or worked with the rooms loudspeaker!
