Outside of some other bands that other users have already mentioned, one band I’m aware of is a Swedish metal band called All Ends. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to them but I know about them because the lead singer worked with Crush 40 for the final boss theme from Sonic and the Black Knight.

There are some other bands that I’m going to mention but they don’t exclusively make metal (or at least I think, I haven’t heard all of their music yet). And yes, they are all bands who make remixes of music from the Touhou games, which their is probably more artists I could mention but I have either forgotten them or just haven’t listened to them yet.

The Other Flower, I almost forgot about this artist, Karma is great example of their music.

Akatsuki Records, Bloody Devotion is a great example of their music.

Undead Corporation, The Dream Of A Rabbit Singing In The Night is a good example of their music but I know that they do have music that is much “heavier”.

Get In The Ring, while the title says it’s “rock” despite the fact that it’s clearly metal, 祭炎 is a good example of their music.

Sound Holic, because I don’t use Spotify anymore, I have forgotten what the best example would be. The song I’ve been listening to the most that is at least partially metal is Grip & Break down.

A-One, while I know that they are primarily a eurobeat artist, they often mix other genres into their music. An example of a song that mixes metal with eurobeat is God Only knows, which is from Initial D the Arcade (2021).

There is one more that I want to mention but I don’t know if the example I have is “heavy” enough to be considered metal or if it’s just “orchestral rock”. It’s 蒼月の懺悔詩~Universal Nemesis by Yonder Voice. They might have heavier but as I stated earlier, I haven’t heard all of their music yet.

  • I don’t know if I’m about to say something that someone has already stated but there are a few reasons I’m aware of.

    1. There is nothing preventing another platform from becoming another TikTok. All of the problematic users will just migrate to some other platform that probably has less moderation and continue doing everything they were doing before.

    2. I’ve seen some concern about what it could do to the economy. A lot of content creators on TikTok were making money from it and some were successful enough to make a living. Some of these users have expressed that they were either unable to gain an audience on other major platforms or they were banned from them, making TikTok their only significant income source.

    3. There are concerns about the hypocrisy of banning TikTok for spying on it’s users when other platforms and services, like Facebook and Windows, do pretty much the same thing.

I started using Lemmy because, after a previous Reddit blackout a few years, the CEO of Reddit (Steve Huffman, AKA Spez) released a statement that (while I’ve long sense forgotten exactly what he said) made it seem like he was disappointed in the Reddit community for not supporting pedophilia. I used alternativeto.net to find Reddit alternatives and, because Lemmy wasn’t at the top of the list at the time, I used a few other websites before using Lemmy. At first I used both simultaneously but I deleted my Reddit account after the API changes.

  • I’m ok with it taking longer to charge and not being able to use it while it’s charging, I have other device, including a computer, that I can use while it’s charging. I made this post because, from what I’ve read and was told over the years, is that slow charging (actual slow charging and not normal charging) can damage the battery. From what other users have told me, this seems to be a lie (or that it’s at least not as bad as fast charging).

  • I’ll keep it brief because I know that this kind of stuff is very triggering for some people but when I was in elementary school, my dad was an alcoholic. One year on my birthday, we decided to go out of town so we can eat at a restaurant that we didn’t have and buy some games from GameStop. Long story short, right before we reached our destination, my dad for a reason that I don’t remember (assuming there was one), decided to start physically abusing both my mom and my sister. So we ended up just going right back home and we just ordered pizza.
