Russia has now attacked a US factory and British and EU diplomatic buildings in Ukraine. It is directly attacking Western powers, which is new. Is this a response to Ukraine’s successful attacks on Russian oil refineries?

if you are still spelling russia with a capital R

This is the second comment I’ve seen today about using russia instead of Russia. Never heard of this before.

Afaik most people use the Z as in Ruzzians or RuZZ to mark Putin loyalists, if that compares to your usage.

It’s is a reference to the Z symbol as in the " Z" army forces which launched the 2022 U.A. invasion. This symbol is now regarded as the Ruzzian (or ruZZ) Swastika ( pro-Putin pro-war & genocide people).

De-capitalizing russia and putin had been popular in Ukraine ever since the full scale invasion started in 2022. I can see why it’s not always applicable in other languages, so feel free to deface the word however you’re comfortable with.
