Mormons don’t drink coffee because it’s hot, not because its caffienated they get a lot of caffiene via soda.
The ones I used to work with didn’t drink anything with caffeine. Never heard of the hot thing.
So apparently it’s something even Mormons are confused about but official doctrine is that caffeine is not a problem. The one guy I knew was fine with caffeine
