Let’s not beat around the bush, or indulge in unnecessary drama: I’m moving to another instance and Patient Gamers needs a new main mod.
Even though I’ve neglected it (the initial plan was to play things by ear for a few days, and accordingly give shape to the place afterwards), this community has attracted a good number of subscribers, it has potential if put in good hands. Hence why I’d rather give the keys to someone else than close, or abandon, it at the same time as my account.
Edit: I appreciate those mentioning that I could mod from another account, but I have no desire to remain involved with this instance in any way.

You’ve probably already made up your mind about me but, believe it or not, I’m less interested (to not say left indifferent) by the promise of proactively defederating questionable instances than I am by finding a place where disinformation and hatred isn’t deemed as mere divergence in opinion. And even though I’m bewildered by the number of those who believe that, I don’t paint everyone with broad strokes; there’s anti-defederation people whose point of view I respect, even though I don’t share it. For proof, my interaction with such a person .
