Jim, Jim, Jim… They don’t “want more than schoolteachers and firemen get.” They want a fair wage. The fact that firemen and school teachers aren’t getting a fair wage either is another problem entirely, and while it shouldn’t weigh in to your choice to pay a living wage to your employees, it should carry some weight in your day to day life. Be better, Jim. Don’t be a dick.
It’s funny… When I hear the Ford CEO criticize UAW for striking to make more than the people we universally recognize as being grossly underpaid, it only reveals that UAW is already making even less than the people we universally recognize as being grossly underpaid. Thus loudly justifying their strike.
