minus-squaresbv@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up87arrow-down3·17 days agoThe Venn diagram of Lemmy users and Outlook users is probably pretty close to two separate circles. I’m sure there’s some commonality, but probably not a lot.
minus-squareRBG@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkarrow-up78·17 days agoWell, I for one work at a company that uses it. So you can at least have those circles touch.
minus-squareRBG@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkarrow-up15·17 days agoFellas, is it gay when the circles touch?

minus-squaresnooggums@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up30·17 days agoAt home, sure, but I have to use it at work. No outage for me.
minus-squareessteeyou@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·17 days agoA lot of companies use Google these days, I guess more of the smaller companies.
minus-squareH4mi@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up9·17 days agoI use Outlook for work. We host our own exchange server and don’t use any webmail though, so I guess that’s why everything works as normal?
minus-squarelud@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up3·16 days agoFor what I know the problem was primarily with the webmail. I used the desktop app with exchange online and wouldn’t have noticed anything unless the support team didn’t inform us.
minus-squaredevfuuu@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up7·edit-28 days agoYeah, many of us are lucky enough to not have touched any MS products in literally decades. Feelz nice.
minus-squareflashgnash@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up2arrow-down1·17 days agoApart from all of the people working using it I actually quite like outlook, better than Gmail and both are better than any of the desktop clients I’ve tried on Linux
minus-squarelud@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up2·16 days agoHave you tried thunderbird? I like it a lot. At work I haven’t bothered with using thunderbird but I might if new outlook doesn’t get good by 2029 (or whenever they retire the old outlook app)
minus-squareflashgnash@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·16 days agoI tried it out, found it felt a bit clunky and slow which when comparing it to a web UI is a bit of a put off
minus-squarelud@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·16 days agoOh, I like it because it is fast and that all the emails are downloaded locally. But I guess that the UI is a bit outdated especially before their quite recent makeover. Thunderbird has existed for 20 years after all. If you haven’t tried it recently I encourage you to try it again, but I get if you don’t want to bother.
minus-squareflashgnash@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·15 days agoI have tried it since the makeover, it doesn’t look that different unless I didn’t get the new version or something

Me too, let’s touch circles

Most probably use it for work.

O365 for business?
