Violent protests probably. Even republicans don’t want fascism. But there is nothing we can do without a hero assassin… At least 3 of them actually.

      Even republicans don’t want fascism.

Um, sorry but have you been paying attention for the last eight years?

The people left in the GOP are driving at full speed towards a fascist dictatorship. It’s not Trump, it’s the entire cadre of sycophants and Nazis he’s set up to protect him.

Laura Loomer’s “Alligator lives matter” didn’t suggest that? Nor the fact that she was celebrating the creation of a new concentration camp to round up and possibly murder ALL Latinos in the US? (And selling merch to go with it!)

What about Kristi Noem filming propaganda in front of cages full of prisoners in El Salvador?

The six SCOTUS judges who are eagerly giving Trump every immunity and power he wants?

Ron DeSantis creating a second one-stop deportation centre?

The US Republican Party ARE fascists, and are ecstatic over how things are turning out.

If you call yourself a Republican and are against this, you’re either a hypocrite, or a liar.

      Even republicans don’t want fascism.

A “Trump Boat Parade” in Jupiter, Florida, on Sunday was joined by neo-Nazis waving swastika flags, shouting “White Power,” “Heil Trump,” and “Make America White Again!”

What’s been truly revolting is in watching how many liberals have jumped on the fascism bus. Kristen Gillibrand is fully in bed with the Silicon Valley techno-fascists. Richie Torries can’t get enough genocide, whether its via our migrant concentration camps at home or our outsourcing of genocide to the Middle East via Israel and Saudi Arabia. Sitting Democrat NYC Mayor Eric Adams has gone all in on MAGA, after receiving pardons for his chronic misuse of public office and funds from the President. Gavin Newsom is flirting with Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon as a podcast host. Half the 2026 Texas Dem Congressional slate is fully in favor of turning the US/Mexico border into the new Iron Curtain. The Florida Democratic Party wants a Bay of Pigs 2.

It’s Italy in 1924 all over again. Oops! All fascists.

Yeah people thinking the Democratic Party is going to save them are delusional IMO. They are part of it and many of them have been working towards the same goal. They are a false opposition at best. Not all of them, some of them are legit, like Bernie, and look how he has been treated by the Dem establishment. Any real resistance is marginalized.

I thought the dems could save us in 2016. I then believed they would save us in 2020. The last chance I gave them was 2024.

Ill vote in their direction only in the hopes they can hit the brakes but, overall, they prove again and again they enable this shit and take no interest in stopping it.

I have been voting against Republicans for nearly 30 years and still have yet to see Dems hit the brakes. They do let off the gas some of the time, and since they are the only ones who have a chance of winning they get the vote by default.

If voting wasn’t so quick and easy where I live it would be difficult to convince myself to put in the effort. It should be this easy everywhere.

That’s why you gotta primary out the ones that don’t actually do their job. Like if it’s too late to primary one out then yeah vote for the dem over the overt fascist but that’s a last resort. If you have the time, check and see if any actually good candidates are running in the primaries and see if you can volunteer and help them out with their campaign. Obviously not everyone has the time or ability, but every little bit helps if you can

You guys are so delusional. You could replace every sitting Dem in congress right now with your hand picked candidates, and literally NOTHING would be different. How many times does this need to be said, YOU NEED 60 VOTES IN THE SENATE! Without 60 votes, you’re not getting transformative change. You can thank your red state voters for that.

                  =/ I get that.

The problem i diagnose is the democrats dont care to go after 60 seats. They are all too happy fighting over a plurality and maintaining the status quo. Its not inspired and will only ever edge you out wins as you fight over the same demographics that all hate you.

I understand that, and I agree. We do need Dems in Congress that will always push for progressive legislation and fight back against conservative nonsense. The issue is, there’s a vast amount of people in this country that want to do the opposite, and in most cases, we’re outnumbered in that regard. You have to VOTE, we have to WIN! Even a moderate Democrat can be pushed towards progressive reform. A conservative Republican will never.

Biden’s BBB was 2 votes away from becoming a reality, unfortunately, it failed. But 10 years prior to that in 2011, it might’ve been 6-9 votes away. WERE MAKING PROGRESS. But everytime republicans gain control, our progress is put on hold or reversed. We can’t allow them to keep winnning.

      Violent protests

this is what the fascists want. any excuse whatsoever to declare martial law, impose curfews, ‘papers, please’ checkpoints, and ‘papers, please’ thugs going door to door, looking for anyone they don’t like so they can send them to the concentration camp.

thoughtcrime doesn’t entail death, thoughtcrime is death

yeah, that’s a weak reason against violent protests. stronger ones are:

          • the violence is often misdirected at people not able to bring change, eg. small businesses or cars.
          • the violence exhausts protesters. many of them being crippled or killed by police, until the protests are suppressed by too few motivated protesters being left.

btw cops love violent protests. they get to kill maim and torture more people than usual. it’s what many of them signed up for and look forward to with excitement. sometimes they have off duty cops in plain clothes infiltrating protesters to start the carnage. all it takes is throwing one stone near a collegue with shield and helmet to give him an excuse to go on a rampage against innocent protesters, while the infiltrator sneaks off

Cops like it when it’s them being violent. They don’t do much when the opposition is armed and not concentrated in one small easily controlled area.

There is an agenda in convincing people that non violence works. Take a real look at how unions and civil rights actually happened. The non violent get credit after the fact to control the narrative.

I really love this meme. The self-defeating attitude that’s been perpetuated by team Dem of "We’ve tried nothing that could potentially be useful and are all out of ideas!” has been swallowed wholesale, by us. Will getting ourselves out of this trap be painful, disfiguring for some, deadly for others? Sure. The other option is self-suffocating, slowly. Drowning by self-waterboarding.
